Isn't the world so evil?!

This one''s for the conspiracy theorists who would have us believe

Ashton''s groin strain was a fake to further his move to West Ham.

Perhaps they could now enlgihten me as to what purpose it serves for

him still to be struggling with said imaginary injury meaning he won''t

feature for his new club at the weekend?

The fact that he passed a medical with the Hammers shows he had no injury and I won''t be suprised if he starts West Ham''s next game.

Don''t be naive, Jamie, you don''t fail a medical with a groin strain - there has to be a more serious immediate problem, or a chronic injury which is unlikely to heal. If a groin strain counts for failing a medical, how about a dead leg? It would be easy to scupper a transfer move if that were the case.

Conspiracy eh?

Well maybe Mourinho heard the word "Deano" mentioned on Monday and tabled a 24 million plus addons deal on the spot. Apparently he thought Ashton was Italian or something..Yep he''ll be a Chelsea player before the window closes, I read it on the internet.

Actually it was an interview with Pardew on Sky Sports news today (they

repeat these things so you can probably still catch it). He should

know, don''t you think? Unless he''s in on it aswell!!!??? [:O]

pardew said this afternoon that he was disappointed with Dean''s injury progress, that he''s not near the level of other players and will not play next game. he make make Sunderland (game after) if he can  prove his fitness and make the team.

Unlike you to let the facts get in the way of a good story.

It wasn''t a groin strain ''Squit''. I have inside information from a respectable source. Apparently it was a back strain- that was caused by lifting an extremely heavy object.........His wallet! ;~)
