This is not good news FFS. Heise is going to need the game of his life now, mind you they all will.

Heise is a left-back. Aarons is a right-back.

Wrong wing, it'll be Byram.

Let's just hope it's one of those agonising-looking injuries that clears up surprisingly quickly.

Studs got caught and his knee twisted. Fingers crossed.

He's been a pretty tough cookie so far so lets hope for the best

@KeiranShikari @Feedthewolf Yep, that’s down to frustration. Someone said we’re cursed this season, let’s hope there’s a load of good luck around the corner. Just need to hear our other 3 youngsters have come through ok now alongside the Mayor.

Well Kenny and Jamal both completed 90, and Godfrey and Cantwell both looked fine at the end. Pukki seems to be okay too. Let's hope Aarons is just a little twist... no big deal if he misses Man City as long as he's back for the games afterwards.

Byram was bought as cover for Aarons so if he isn't good enough he shouldn't be here. I was in favour of resting Max against Man City anyway so an enforced change is not the end of the world. Beyond that is another matter. An opportunity for Byram and I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do.

As for Godfrey he is a future England CB there's no doubt about that. Unfortunately for us he will need to remain in the Premiership from here on in.

At least Kenny has gotten to know De Bruyne a little bit better before Saturday (I'm looking for any positive advantages I can) 😂😂

Didn't even kick him once.

Good stuff, Wolfie - your suggestion about Max isn’t actually a bad one come to think about it. Byram will therefore be looking to make the spot his own so performance wise that can only be a good thing if indeed Max has (hopefully only) a sore ankle.

Boothroyd just said on BT that he rolled his ankle. Hopefully that means no ankle ligament damage.

When you watch it in slow motion, it definitely seems to be the left knee that twists rather than the ankle. It's his right leg that makes the tackle, but then his left knee plants and twists on impact. He seems to grab his knee initially, and then his shin. Not sure if there are any sports injury specialists out there, but it does seem like it could be the knee.

Is Godfrey being fast tracked to the full squad?

The opening may be there - 50 - 60 million will get you his signature Man Utd and England can have a settled CB pairing for club and country.

“ Everton defender Keane had an inexcusable lapse to pass the ball straight to Berisha in a dangerous position to score the first in the opening minute and the sense of threat every time Kosovo got near England's goal was an illustration of their defensive unease.

And defensive partner Maguire was no better, clumsily failing to clear before hauling down Muriqi for the penalty. “

I see Godfrey is back in the papers being linked with Tottenham again. It notes they might not even wait until the summer to make a move, so I suspect a big bid will be received by them at some stage in the future. I would be surprised if he is here next season, but if he isnt we should be able to command a large sum for him.

I reckon he'll be sold in January then loaned back for rest of season, should be at least £30 million !

I would expect substantial add ons if that were the case too, based on England caps etc

Agree with this CK, all this talk about 60 million doesn't stack up, he's had 4 games in the Premier League.

Sure, he's got potential, but at this stage that's all it is, and moving to a Spurs wouldn't guarantee him first Team football and no one is paying 60 million for a squad player.
