I bet he got a warm reception from the Woodbridge faithful.

I bet he would still get a warm reception in Reepham. 🤣😜

Been looking through some pictures of The Great Ones from previous years and the Holt one at Portman Road in the 5-1 thrashing is up there with the very best. Posters on here keep banging on and on about.............'we can't compete, we've got no money' etc. but miss the essential point. Not one of the current team (maybe with exception of Krul and Pukki) has the character, leadership and inspiration of players like Holty and Russell Martin. That picture sums up Holty. He played with a smile on his face. Today in the current team it's all frowns and drawn faces. That I'm afraid is up to the geezer in charge. He needs to completely lighten up the mood, bring back the FarkeBall style and encourage the players to relax and laugh for once. Like I've said many times recently, if we play and prepare with the right attitude then we can still get results and produce performances.

Not as warm as the reception he would have got in Reepham. 😜🤣
