Bill 1,788 Posted September 5, 2019 33 minutes ago, TIL 1010 said: Oh so it is all fake news then Herman? Glad we got that cleared up. Herefordshire Council said that initially Mr Curry had not provided all the documentation needed to legally register for housing. But, despite this, the council stated the former soldier was offered two forms of accommodation, in areas which were agreeable to Mr Curry, but both were turned down. They say that since his newspaper appeal and Mr Curry meeting with the council last week, he has now been placed on the social housing waiting list and has placed a bid on a property. “Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant means we prioritise housing for former members of the services and they’re given an advantage on the waiting list,” said a council spokesman. “We currently have 1,328 people and their families looking for social housing in Herefordshire and 13 of these have a forces background. “Everyone registered for social housing is advised that the more flexible they can be with their choice of location, the quicker they are likely to receive appropriate housing. “For example, there are 24 one-bed properties available across the entire county and only three of these are in Hereford city. “Herefordshire Council does not own any housing stock, it is held by a number of different housing associations across the county. " not quite how you would have us believe us it plod ? as the real problem is those who will simply regurgitate misinformation to misled the argument As to Fowzi Nejad it is probably a little more complex than the 19th century Boys Own comic portrayal that is being put out on here. The man sponsoring this Sadam Hussein was at the time 'on our side' and this was part of a battle with Iran (boo, very naughty). So rather than post what really happened and has happened since I suggest anyone interested have a read up and decide themselves, rather than swallow **** from Piers Morgan

These stories are designed by these rags to wind people up and they have done it so well that the country is now where it is. Lets take a quick look at the story. The Embassy siege was in 1980. He was caught and sentenced. He was released in 2008 meaning he spent 28 years in prison. He can't be sent back to Iran because he would likely face execution. "A playboy lifestyle in Peckham..." Have you ever been to Peckham? The second story. Why was Bob Curry homeless? Why is there a lack of care for ex-servicemen? Why haven't they mentioned this in the article and held the government to account?

Maybe you should have also checked up on what business he was running as if my memory is correct it failed through a change in government contracts. He voluntarily left his martal home and then refused two offers of suitable accomodation. Perhaps you could have looked up the effect of the Tory governments selling off of council owned property - or the transferring of it out of the council hands. But then, mouse brain, that would require you to think for yourself. Something none of us have ever seen you do. Which multiplied by the millions similar in their stupidity to you is the real problem the country has to deal with. Numpties all too willing to regurgitate nonsense they have been sent - as you did in July 2017 ....... a WW1 GWGC cemetry photo with a neo **** logo on it and an offensive message plastered on it. A Load of Squit 5,066 Posted September 28, 2019 It's probably all down to the wrong people being in possession of the solutions. The country could be so much better if these people stopped driving taxis, cutting hair and posting on social media. 😀
nevermind, neoliberalism has had it 159 Posted October 3, 2019 we are being led by the nose again, after 11 years of austerity and decades of Tories ruling the shires, they are not going to let go of power and will break laws to get their way. If they are trying to change the existing peace, international treaties like the GFA, by erecting borders in Ireland, without asking anyone, bar their DUP fraudsters, then they will take us back in time. Once again ruin the life's of many people who have lived together, who are trading, have mutual services such as water and electricity and who enjoy each others company, then that is not acceptable. Ireland, north and south have mutually declared , are speaking with one voice, that they will not have anymore interference in their borders, not from us or the EU, nor will they want to change the current arrangements both sides have benefited from. To carry on fiddling with Ireland's future means further division and ugly strife there,. and here.

keelansgrandad 6,679 Posted December 22, 2019 Too many people sent to the Lords despite wanting to spend more time with their family. So would I but mine all have to work apart from Mrs KG and I. Still they must be down to their last few mill. Just like Giuliani, who has to spend $7K on fountain pens while doing pro bono work so he doesn't have to pay his 3RD wife so much alimony. Tell me the difference betweeen Lucky Luciano and Rudy Giuliani. There is none is there.
