It may have become a cliche, but the saying "If it looks too good to be true, it probably is" is 90% of the knowledge you need when investing. See also "moderation in everything", although that can be applied more widely

I signed up during first lockdown but ran a mile after they artificially made the spreads really high rather than letting the share values naturally fall. It's not a 'market' with that manipulation, shame as it had potential and could have been a bit like a Betfair.

I had a play initially when it first launched and made some good money for the small amount put in the first year or so. Thankfully cashed in at that point. However my current 'portfolio' is now worthless comparatively speaking.
