Ever wondered where Ricardo gets the facts from

Recommended Posts

My old friend and ex workmate Roger Smith has just sent me his updated 5th edition of The Canary Companion.

Packed full of every bit of info you ever wanted to know about NCFC. History, scores, appearances, attendances,  in fact its the answer to everything anybody will ever ask you.

Never be lost for an answer again.

It's not on sale in the shops apparently but if you email him at

canaryrog@hotmail.co.uk and mention that Ricardo sent you, I expect you will get a nice discount.

Are you on commission? I wouldn’t mind a copy of that .

No MY

Roger has been going to CR almost as long as me and has been keeping records of every match since he was a boy. He doesn't have a publisher and has had copies printed at his own expense. Obviously he needs to sell quite a few to cover costs.

You used to be able to get the first edition in Jarrolds but if you want his latest updated edition I recomend emailing him and he will sort you a copy. The cover price is 12.99 but I reckon if you mention me he will do you one at a tenner.

You won't regret it. Its the most complete book of easily findable facts about City that you can obtain anywhere.

Small world. I know Roger too. He is very knowledgeable about all things Norwich, not just the football club. I've bought the latest edition of his book. It's well worth the money.

I’ve read the first one and it brought back a lot of memories, excellent books and I’m sure the new one is just as good.

😀

I do remember hearing this as a very young nipper quite a lot that summer - mostly on the radio as few if any on our estate had TV's.

Funny how certain bits of music can take you right back.

Thanks again for the tip-off Ricardo.

Met Roger tonight and picked up my copy - can't wait to get my nose into it properly. (even though Mrs Muzinic is keen to tuck it away for my birthday!)

Roger is a great guy and his passion for all things NCFC is apparent from the moment you meet him!
