keelansgrandad 6,679 Posted July 25, 2019 Does Norfolk and particularly coastal areas have problems with Gulls? Here in Cornwall they really are becoming a problem and a real nuisance. And of course, one has been reported as flying off with a pet dog. They are protected as apparently their numbers are low. But as far as I can see they outnumber Magpies about 1000 to 1 and Magpies are not protected.
Thirsty Lizard 3,155 Posted July 25, 2019 Never mind coastal areas KG, they're becoming a big problem in Norwich itself. Their demented screeching can be heard from early in the morning and they waddle around the city centre with seeming impunity. On the plus side though I've seen a few recently feasting on pigeons which they appear to have killed.
Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man 3,777 Posted July 25, 2019 It's okay, they'll probably be relegated this season anyway.
KiwiScot 1,436 Posted July 26, 2019 Seagulls are a pain everywhere, including here in Glasgow.
