gazzathegreat 0 Posted January 1, 2006 This is just to inform you all that Meeky and I are getting married. He got a little bit carried away last night and proposed (on bended knee in the local pub) just after midnight.I blame Nigel Worthington, too many wins can affect a man like this I believe. We saw an away win yesterday and I think he''s now lost his marbles completely, Meeky I mean, not Nigel. [6]I have accepted btw and you can all assume some more revenue for the club in the corporate hospitality section in the next couple of years. Happy New Year to all Pink Un posters [:)]

Mark .Y. 350 Posted January 2, 2006 If he does that after five straight wins, what on earth will he do when we win the play-off final.Congratulations to you both, I have been married for 20-odd years now and can assure you both that marriage definitely is an institution !!Mark .Y. The Great Drinkell 50 Posted January 2, 2006 Gazza, I think you do yourself an injustice. Although I have never met either of you - or at least not knowingly- I wouldn''t think this sort of action would be actioned by a few wins.Although if we go through the Christmas period picking up full points then i would expect this type of behaviour. Congratulations to the both of you.
Morph 19 Posted January 2, 2006 A hearty best wishes to you both. May you both have many happy moments to treasure together - especiallythose ones where City actually start playing how we all want them toand Nigel Worthington becomes as good as Jose Mourhino. The day we play football as we ( I take it you mean me, you and Meeky) would like does somehow seem a long way off at the moment! Probably a far longer time to wait than our wedding day.
