Nothing as far as I could tell. He was just running back normally after losing a tackle & went down on his knees. He looked to be on the verge of tears. Really, really feel for him.

Not a good sign that, players know their bodies.

As for the stream, dodgy WiFi or something out there unfortunately.

For a friendly they aren’t being particularly so, are they?!  It’s a little concerning to see defenders going off injured when we’re already down on numbers - hopefully just precautionary.

Just jarred his ankle on the pitch, which looks very soft.

Imagine the sub was precautionary, he walked off the pitch himself unsupported. Talk of ‘the end of his career’ are probably a little rash.

His last injury appeared totally innocuous, poor guy had only just come on and appeared to fall awkwardly, hopefully this is just a precaution

Hopefully it is. It was the way he just seemed to break down out of the blue that I find worrying.

If anyone has a relationship with the media department please forward this along - if you are using wifi or RJ45 ethernet of the location's IT network to provide the stream uplink STOP!  Use bonded cellular instead like this https://www.liveu.tv/events

Sure there will be news out of the club either way. Even if it is another long injury he has three more years on his contract so won’t be ending his career anytime soon.

The stream is provided by a German company who stream a lot of games in pre-season via their daily motion site. They have no contract or connection to Norwich.

Even if not a serious long term injury, Thompson knows that missing any of pre-season training means you end up way down the pecking order for  first team start.

Wimbledon on the laptop, cricket on the telly, NCFC on wife's iPad, Ghost Ship in the glass. F1 recorded to watch later!

Who says us men can't multi-task?

BTW are we waiting for Doris the tea lady to turn up with her needle and thread to sew the player's names on their shirts?

So, a clue today as to who our new left sided Centre Back will be in 2 years.  Jamal to move into the middle eventually?

If I was Bielefeld's coach I'd be delighted with this performance.

Think they haven't really learnt much from that.  Pitch was crap, opposition were up for a fight, early injuries upset the plan completely, Buendia and the Mayor absent, Teemu and Argos very ring rusty.  Oh and Jamal Lewis the new half back.

Lets just hope now that the injury news isn’t bad

Only watched the second half but it looked like standard pre season fare. Rusty, disjointed and a bit tired. Hopefully the injuries aren't too bad.

Well, you can never tell from these pre-season matches Norwich may have been training hard right up till the match whist the others may have taken it a bit more seriously.
