KiwiScot 1,443 Posted July 5, 2019 Signed from Partick Thistle for 350k and into the youth team. Thought we would not get this one, but we seem to pursuit who we want a bit harder these days. Hopefully turns out well.
KeiranShikari 1,410 Posted July 5, 2019 Wearing a new pair of glasses today I misread that he'd scored 30 goals last season for Partick. Got a bit excited.
Hairy Canary 697 Posted July 5, 2019 (edited) The futures bright... Some really good young talent coming in and Conley sorted and paid for. Whatever happens next season we will have something to show for the Premiership cash. This is exactly the opposite of pi$$ing our windfall up the wall that Webber mentioned. AJ 1,218 Posted July 5, 2019 Investing for the future. If we go down, then we’ve got a whole host of talent below the first team to call upon. If we stay up, they still got the chance to make their way into the first team. Really nice to see a different strategy this time
ged in the onion bag 855 Posted July 5, 2019 (edited) Not sure why they didn't arrange for him to stay there on loan this season. If he's in their first team he'd develop quicker. But SW and DF do seem to know what they're doing. Edited July 5, 2019 by ged in the onion bag

Really nice to see a different strategy this time It is indeed good to see, but I’m not sure I wholly agree with the bit about being a ‘different strategy’ - where do you think Madders (Coventry), Godfrey (York), Thompson (Swindon), Aarons (Luton), Jamal (Luton) et al came from - this is largely a continuation of what we’ve been trying to do for a while, we just now have PL money to do it a bit more.
