First Wizard 0 Posted January 5, 2006 Several internet sites are claiming we''ve bid £400.000 for Sunderlands Andy Gray. This would be the Gray who can''t score to save his life, and can''t even get into an all but relegated team would it?.Knowing Worthy''s tastes ie. ''Tall Lump'' it could well be true.

StevenageFan 0 Posted January 5, 2006 Aaaah, but his experience in the the Championship and the Premier is just what we need to help get the boys going. Just like Graham Stuart, what a revelation he was [:(]

Trent Canary 0 Posted January 5, 2006
oh me god What have i been warning of - us turning into a team of donkeys - its actually happening
And of course, the proof is where? To be honest it wouldnt surprise me if Wiz just made it up, people will believe anything if it suits an arguement..
Trent Canary 0 Posted January 5, 2006 Ok, just for those that misunderstand the sarcasm, when I say that Wiz probably made it up I was being sarcastic, just so I dont have to explain it later.Im a worthy outer, but it just gets silly when people have a go at him for unfounded rumours, then it just becomes a witchhunt. And if we show that type of mentality then no wonder the board wont listen to us. If we are GENUINELY interested in him then fine, but for now I see no evidence. Citizen Journalist Foghorn 0 Posted January 5, 2006 It was in the mirror and on a couple of websites - and he does come across as a worthy mid table clogger.personally I hope its just his agent palming him off to a guy who he sees losing his main target man (even if he isnt one) and with cash
Trent Canary 0 Posted January 5, 2006
It was in the mirror and on a couple of websites
You can take that to the bank as evidence... As I said it may well have foundations too it, but for now having a go at Worthy for unfounded rumours (In the mirror, hehe) makes the whole thing a witchhunt. Alex Harvey-Jones 0 Posted January 5, 2006 Wow a partnership of Thorne and Gray up front, now that really would terrify defenders - especially with Hughes and Etuhu providing the amunition from midfield!!!
