AJ 1,191 Posted December 21, 2005 Norwich City captain Andy Hughes will be sidelined for at least six weeks with a fractured cheekbone. The 27-year-old midfielder sustained the injury during the Canaries'' 3-1 win over Southampton on Saturday. Hughes has had a metal plate inserted in the damaged cheek following surgery, and spent Monday night in hospital. Norwich''s midfield options are already limited as Youssef Safri could be away with Morocco in the African Nations Cup for over a month from January onwards.
