......and Smith must score. 1,311 Posted June 20, 2019 But they get to have a decent pint. Why can't we be in League One ?
splendidrush 698 Posted June 20, 2019 Apparently they're going to enjoy seeing us get beat every week as they romp to the title. Delusional as always......
SwindonCanary 455 Posted June 20, 2019 Both very tough fixtures, I wouldn't be surprised to see both teams lose.

The Great Mass Debater 1,071 Posted June 20, 2019 Im from Burton. Plusses of Burton away - Less travel time Less likely to be robbed or get in a fight Easier to park near the ground and discover your tyres still on your car after the game Cheaper tickets Will probably win The delightful smell of hops and marmite That is all... Bill 1,788 Posted June 20, 2019 While not the same day, but the same week I think this is perhaps more telling. The binners play host to AFC Wimbledon on the Tuesday (20th Aug) while we have to suffer the indignities of playing host to Chelsea on the Saturday. Those two London clubs might be only a few mile apart in the geography, but they are miles apart in all other areas. As are us and the paupers.

Never been to Burton but my wife is from the Wirral so I’ve spent many days/nights in Liverpool. Summary about Liverpool: Less travel time; Never been robbed or been in a fight; Never lost our tyres; Might win. Conclusion: Liverpool isn’t as bad as it’s made out. Manchester though, that’s a different story-went there once in the 80s, once in the 90s and once in the 00s, there was an undercurrent of violence on all 3 nights. Been back twice in the last 2 years, no problems-but there never is at Shed Seven gigs 😄
