Crab over lobster for sure and Cioppino in the Italian district of San Francisco is outstanding. For fish I like almost anything but let the fish be the star, don’t bury the taste in batter or cheese or whatever else you think will cover the taste up. Rice or chips?

When In Oz, Moreton Bay bugs. But since it hasn't had a mention yet, salmon for a summer's day. The steaks poached or steamed and left just to cool down a touch from hot, new potatoes, a green salad and/or courgettes and/or broccoli, and a cool, tangy mayonnaise-based sauce - cucumber and dill works, or dill by itself, or tarragon is good as well. Plus a few bottles of decent rosé, but not over-chilled.

When In Oz, Moreton Bay bugs

Was in Brisbane in the 70's and saw these on a menu and was intrigued. And with a couple of XXXX poured down the neck as well, I was pleasantly surprised.
