This one is tough. 2004/5 has Ashton and Huckerby, but there are weaknesses in this side. In the end I've plumped for 2016/7

Ha! Only as accurate as Transfermarkt's data. I didnt remember this either. Have checked, he's never played for us!

Using transfermarkt isnt without problems, definitely some overlap, with players listed who probably moved before the season started and therefore werent really part of that years squad. Ideally would have been best with 'Team of the season data', but Transfermarkt was the best I could find
