£8m transfer spec around his neck.  Hopefully wise and bassett (as

the old school boy chairmen calls them) have juiced their players off

this week with their cockney ''larger than life'' double act or by

beating them at cards.........

Soton have only lost three times this season, are very successful in killing off  teams in the bottom half of the table and we are good one week poor the next and abysmal the week after before improving again.

Any result is likely but I will plump for the soton draw specialists making this draw number 14 for the season - 1-1.

Dave Bassett will have them fired up like you won''t believe. he wants the managers job and is a good tough, experienced man. His teams run and tackle and close down like terriers, even more so with Dennis Wise if he plays. I reckon we will have trouble breaking them down, our defence is still suspect and therefore I forecast a Soton win by one goal.

I beg to differ and agree with some of the other members posts. Bertie Bassett is screaming for the job ( i hope and pray he don''t get it) but he has a point to prove. We are solid all round so a high scoring game is something that wont be acheived. I do however beleive, it has a draw written all over it.
