The club have just released a teaser on social media announcing some sort of deal with them, but haven't specified what.

Any ideas?

The Suffolk Socialists cannot of course bring themselves to sell the club to mega-bucks foreigners directly so they are selling to Jarrold for nil consideration on the understanding that they get their money (£32.7m) when Jarrold then sell it on immediately to a middle-eastern consortium that will plough £5bn into the club spread over 12 months.

The Suffolk Socialists are masters of secrecy so that is why the deal, like their transfers, is undisclosed.

Didn't we have some kind of get out clause with LeoVegas this year? Wonder if that's it? The club have been unusually quiet on kit news this year.

Are Jarrold a big enough company nationally/internationally to afford (or to justify the cost of) being the main shirt sponsor of a Premier League club? Maybe as a secondary sponsor on the back of the shirt, but I'd be surprised if they become the main sponsor.

Ideal shirt sponsor, both aesthetically and obviously with the local connection.

Money for shirt sponsorship at the bottom end of the premier league is pretty tiny compared to the rest of the league's riches so it could happen.

Does feel unlikely though, if we're ending the link with the LeoVegas I wouldn't be surprised if we ended up with a different foreign betting company.

Seems weird to have a teaser for anything other than the shirt sponsor.

However, the Ben Kensell interview mentions sponsorship announcements, and the fact the video was shot in the ground suggests it is from a larger piece Archant have just done with the club that is probably embargoed until the club make an official announcement.

Could be the media were invited into Carrow Road to see Jarrold’s name back on the South Stand. Who knows maybe it will be on the shirt also - it would be a lot of money for Jarrolds though and not sure how much benefit they would get from being broadcast to a global audience.

Last season, Huddersfield and Brighton received £1.5m and every other club got at least £3m. Jarrold is a company that operates primarily in Norwich (I don't know what its online presence is like) and everyone in the city knows about it, so I don't see why they'd spend that sort of money advertising to people who already know about the product or to people who have little to no interest in using it. It doesn't make sense to me, unless they're trying to somehow expand on an international scale.

Isn't Wynn Jones part of the "wider" Jarrold establishment?  Smacks of nowhere else to go as far as sponsorship is concerned so a favour being given on both sides to reduce potential embarrassment of no shirt sponsor.

Back of shorts replacing Shred Station maybe? OR on the arm et al Everton's "Angry Birds"? ...they missed a trick with not giving us the Angry Birds deal.

Welcome to modern toss soccerball!

Considering we're a Premier League club It's safe to say we'd have a lot of options for shirt sponsors. Not to mention the fact that the Leo Vegas deal still has a year left to run.

Correct. It's often said that clubs in the Football League have to actively seek sponsorship, whereas in the Premier League every man and his dog wants to sponsor you.

Call me conservative or whatever but I'm against betting outfits sponsoring anything, so the sooner they get off our shirts backs (see what I did there ?) the better.

That said, the bloody ground is covered in money-wasting promotional banners.

Anyone seen what the announcement was going to be?  Seems to have got forgotten about with the Membership scheme furore?

They're sponsoring the burger van outside the ticket office.

Jarrold couldn't run a bath...

Their book printing operation being a fine example...

Jarrold would be great for all of us with a Norfolk disposition but is hardly an attempt at globalisation of 'Brand NCFC' (sorry even I felt a bit sick typing that), maybe it's a revert to type and back to Aviva whose logo has always been one of my favourites on our kits?

All good fun anyway!

Pretty sure there was some sort of Premier League get out clause, but I agree with others saying that it won't be Jarrolds sponsoring the shirt... Maybe the kids' shirts... Akin to Gravity this season. But I doubt it's that either!

"Ooooh- Jarrolds restaurant doing their cheese scones and their free filter coffee refills at the ground has a certain appeal..."

Have we learned nothing from the folly of The Galway Roast months...😱😉

The club are opening a new store downstairs in Pilch as the cycle shop in there have now closed down. That's the rumour I've heard.

Expect the other one to close.

Agree. But the Chapelfield store is too small and the one at Carrow Rd too crowded on matchday so I see this as a positive.
