Cottee, Dalgleish and that lump from Bolton who looked a bit like Holty but couldn't score, can't remember his name.

Other than the obvious, what was wrong with Keith Scott that made him stay at clubs for a very short time?

Joe Corrigan is correct

Walsh is incorrect, player in question had his career ended in his canary debut, unfortunately, due to injury

At Wimbledon, or against them? Can't think of his name. A central defender.

Isn't this Alex Notman?  Signed him instead of Healy who impressed on loan?

Healy on loan was a few years later.

as mentioned by @splendidrush, John O´Neill is correct. He got "Fashanu´d" at Wimbledon in an evening match just before Christmas, IIRC.

I was at that game, they were still playing at Plough Lane at that time. I had my umbrella confiscated by stewards when I entered the ground 😡

Thanks. I had known straight away who it was and what happened, and where, and even that his christian name was John, but just couldn't remember the surname. Everything bar that detail. Memory, eh!😟

I'd got as far as John too.

I seem to recall a later interview with the then secretary (Nigel Pleasants? ) saying he rushed back to the office that night to make sure that he had filled all of the medical insurance forms in correctly as it was O'Neill's first match. It must have been obvious early on how bad the injury was.

If your umbrella was confiscated for being an offensive weapon,  how did John Fashanu get in?
