shyster 0 Posted December 18, 2005 Bearing in mind the six million being bandied around for the overrated Ashton:How much do you think it would take for Dinamo Zagreb to part with the services of Niko Kranjčar, or would Kranjcar be remotely interested in coming to Norwich?What a signing he would be, never mind the gap at right-wing - play the 3-5-2 formation incorporating left & right defender/midfielders & Kranjcar switching between AMC & STRIKER with Huckerby and/or McVeigh. Bosko Balaban, Davor Suker and Savo Milosevic all came over with big reptations, but failed to deliver[/quote]The difference being, Balaban, Suker & Milosevic were signed to Premier League teams with high expectations of them, having garnered decent reputations with their respective national sides.Kranjcar, has yet to establish himself a fixture in the Croatian outfit, so he has more to prove than the players latterly mentioned yet much less pressure to do so by signing for a club in a lower division - such as City.And don''t forget that Balaban''s & Milosevic''s less than impressive performances helped keep Villa in the Premier.
