As comebacks go, that was decent.

They wanted it more.

Thankfully they aren't all as good as Liverpool in the Prem.

And we have more than a few decent results against them in the past.

Put a whopping £3 on them qualifying at 11-1.... and even that felt like a waste of time when looking at Liverpool’s starting line up. How on earth have they managed that?!

Not forgetting that Origi is their 4th choice striker, we might need to play a 9-1--1 formation against them 😉

Having an extra player always helps............🙃

Pathetic show of bottling from Barca

...caught between not knowing whether to defend their 1st leg lead or try to get an away goal....and fell between both stools

Suarez too bothered in becomibg embroiled in side issues rather than playing the game

....and Jordi Alba turned into James Husband for the evening

That was credit to Liverpool though. Pressed them ,and got 'stuck into' them (in a legal way), and Barca couldn't turn that around.

They just had to score 1 goal....although having said that I wouldnt put it past them conceding a 5th the way they went about it tonight.

...to many touches and flicks around the box, Suarez as mentioned distracted, Countinho not up for the fight...and the Barca substitutes were just awful

....to completely fold like that 2 seasons in a row... I wouldnt want to be in their shoes when they return to Barcelona to face the music

I like this quote:

Klopp said that he had told his team to attack with everything at their disposal and defend with whatever came to hand. He asked them to be “cheeky” when they could and by a thousand audacious, confident acts they turned the tide in their favour.

That could be our motto for next season

Cheers for that HIWEM. I remember, as a teenager, travelling up from Hereford, on my own, and getting the train/bus to the game. Didn't want to open my mouth and speak as I was worried I would get rumbled! Even worse on the way back, seeing as we had won!

Also did that, around that time for a trip to Birmingham (won 4-0), and walking to the ground, again worried about being rumbled for not having a brummie accent!

It was amazing, but I’ve been saying this all season, the similarities between Liverpool’s set up, the way they play, their fitness and the never say die attitude is very much in line with the way we’ve played all season. Just that they have a little bit better quality players.

Great game, credit to their fans too what an atmosphere!

WACCOE have been saying it all along - EVERYONE wants to be like the mighty Leeds - envied across the world!

Typical to see Mid Norfolk focus on the negatives rather than a fantastic performance by a Liverpool team, wouldn't want a night out with him! Yes, Barcelona weren't at it but you really ought to focus on the positives or get a job as a pundit on MOTD.
