Ward 3 484 Posted May 5, 2019 Feel for Hooper. Was gutted when we sold him. Certainly knows where the goal is.... maybe we could get him on a free. Our last free transfer striker wasnt too bad I guess 😮
splendidrush 720 Posted May 6, 2019 If he can regain his fitness, there's a good Championship striker in there.

Our last free transfer striker wasnt too bad I guess 😮 Certainly played in the right way he scores goals, as he has proved elsewhere. This is one of the most important part of our success this season, getting players in who can play the style of football the team plays, and wants to play, not players whose games are alien to the style the manager wants. A change of team style certainly did Teemu no harm! Hooper (and RvW) had little chance here playing Hughton football. He is probably past his sell-by date now for us but in a different team he could still do well.
