I''d take Rasiak and Davenport for Ashton, on current form anyway for the three. Ashton can''t hit a barn door with a banjo at the moment and Rasiak at this level with Derby, need i say more... but do we play to his strengths? We don''t play to Ashton''s... and Davenport... well, he has proved what a quality defender he is and with Shackell makes a good, young partnership we can build on.

Spurs already have Mido Keane and Defoe - would ashton want to go there or would spurs want him as they are also interested in Djibril Cisse from Liverpool.
