Half  - planning for life in Championship.

Other half - Asking how much tickets for the play off final will cost.

Such a bizarre bunch, great entertainment though.

I wonder if this comment from elsewhere might lead to a few poor whippets getting a kick in anger tonight.

" Leeds United have spent 32 weeks in the automatic promotion places this season, but unless something remarkable happens in the last two, they will spend the most important week just outside. "

Wow this post was a bit special....poor guy

Oh fu***** hell let em come, no c**** in the division above or anywhere outside of ipswich gives a sh*** about em.

desperate to have a rivallry with anyone important they will never have, when they won div 3 they tried on some bragging rights its div 3 FFS

in 92 we lifted a tin pot at ER, cant remember who we played like...but rod scored a contender for goal of the season....

see thats the thing all this a journey  for LUFC to some place we fit better ...we hope

and they will never know or fit into...its not arrogance either.

but they could be one of 22 other teams, wouldnt give a f***. As long as somehow we go up

just a truth.

we go up 2nd no one cares about them

we go up vis the POs no one cares about them

we stay down, we will be the story

we both go up and both come down, no one will care about them

we both go up and we go down, again no one will care about them

no other club will look at the fixture list next season and go oh good norwich, you could say the same if they stayed down.....no c*** cares about em that much in this division either

then know it as well, all the bluster and bravado is just that.

f****** wimbledon have made a bigger mark on british football than they have,

bless, poor Leeds 😂

Of course many families will look at the fixture lists if Leeds do get promoted somehow. They will wear rainmacs so they don't get gobbed on. They will wear earmuffs to avoid the profanities. And they will take boxes of hankies to hand out after listening to all the sob stories about a club that was famous between the mid sixties and mid nineties bit is now just one that is most peoples avoid list.

Christ knows what it will be like around poorman road on May 5th

Each set of fans trying to out bore each other with tales of their glorious history

6a0120a66c8606970b016767685ed6970b-800wi

it was the 27th story about Bobby Robson that finally done for one Leeds Utd supporter

Anyone with an account able to repost some of the bragging crap they were spouting in August?

That should light a few touchpapers and start another torrent of *****, ***** and ****s!

I've heard a lot of Leeds fans are staying at Yarmuff on the Saturday so best avoid, as it will be trashed. As will Portakabin Rd.

Probably best to avoid Yarmuff on any day of the week in my experience.

Best thing about Leeds fans is they think everyone wants to beat them because they're the biggest club in the world, when in reality it's because so many of their fans are total be11ends and it's funny to watch them suffer. Hope they make it to the play off finals and lose on penalties.

Special indeed. Imagine supporting a club like Leeds. In your own special mind the club is crucial to the fabric that is British football. But in the mind of every single supporter of every other club in this land, it can rot in hell and disappear down the plug hole, never to return.

Bog off Leeds! A once great club with an insufferable boring bunch of constant wafflers.

Premiership here we come.

Elland Road.....the ground is an outdated ****ehole located in a scuzbucket area of the ****tiest city’s in the UK! It’s just a borough of Bradford!

I can’t say anything good about Leeds, it’s little wonder their fans are like they are!

****ing Leeds fans 😂 Realistically no one under the age of 25 has even known them to be a top flight club.

I think it's reasonable to measure the stature of a club over a fifteen year period - so taking that:

Leeds were relegated to the Championship at the end of the 2003–04 season. The club were eventually forced to sell their training ground, and Elland Road stadium in the autumn of 2004. In the 2004–05 Coca-Cola Championship they spent the first half of the campaign looking in serious danger of a second successive relegation. During the 2005–06 season by the end of February Leeds were in 3rd place in the Championship, however Leeds slumped, gaining 4 points from a possible 18, and eventually had to settle for a play-off place. In a dismal performance Leeds crashed to a 3–0 final defeat to Watford. In 2006-2007, they went on a run of five defeats that eventually saw them relegated after entering voluntary administration.

Because of certain issues, sections of the press predicted (or even called for) Leeds's expulsion from the Football League. The league eventually sanctioned the sale of the club without the club going through a CVA under the "exceptional circumstances rule", but imposed a 15-point deduction.

In 2007-2008 Leeds finished fifth in League One but lost the Play-off Final 1–0 to Doncaster Rovers. In 2008-2009 Leeds secured a place in the Play-offs for the second successive season and faced Millwall in the Play-off Semi-finals but lost 2–1 on aggregate. The 2009–10 season saw Leeds gloriously promoted back to the Championship by finishing 2nd in League One (behind Champions Norwich after blowing a 9 point lead over the Canaries) Leeds also advanced to the Northern Area Final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy; however, after drawing with Carlisle United over two matches, Leeds lost in a penalty shoot-out.

Ardent fan Jack White said:

"Our first season back in the Championship in 2010-2011 Leeds finished a magnificent seventh (Norwich unbelievably were promoted), and have set world records for having the best fans, biggest attendance, most financial takeovers and world class managers, but unfortunately on the pitch we've been really unlucky. As for Norwich your lot have been relegated twice already from the PL in that time - despite stealing Jonny Howson and Snoddy - and I'm looking forward to seeing you relegated all over again next year. We don't care about the 2018 - 2019 Championship title, Sky Sports knows and everyone knows we are the best team"

So as you can see Leeds is a big club. A very big club. A European stature big club.

Who do they think they are?...theyve not been in the premuer league for 15 years!!....I'd bracket them in the same group as clubs such as Forest or Sheff Weds...big clubs, yes....once good, but people hardly 'look out for them on the fixture list' ??!

Like how they're consoling themselves by saying all the talk is about them and no-one cares about us.

As if that bothers us!!

Well Crabby, it’s fair to say that they have gone a little bit mental 👍

They have not congratulated us on winning the league, but then to be fair, we totally deserve it for not starting a thread congratulating them when they also won the league back in August 🏆🚫😂
