I'm totally bored with it too.  Indeed it only required a brief google to establish the point. I have no idea why they can't understand. Happy to let the EU prove the point in court.

My neighbour bought a new house, said they will be exchanging treaties soon....

15 hours ago, nevermind, neoliberalism has had it said:

You seem to think thay Americans are benign in their haste to get their hands on medical data and our wallets. I agree with your gist with regards to our continuous colonising, indeed we are slaves ourselves to this attitude that we can do with humans as we see fit.

Onwards with recruiting well educated and taught nurses, in debt to their eyeballs due to the university money challenge which eventually lands them in a job were they are useful and hard working, with not much prospects of a pay rise.

Doctors take 7.5 years to train and whence they are trained, they, just as their nursing team will look for were the money is to be made. If we want to retain staff here, then we have to change the model of NHS funding, with employers and employees both contributing to a health insurance that allows the NHS to be funded in another way.

To change the current equation, when we are still in a serious health challenge due to this ever morphing virus, throw the spanners in the bin and hope that we can cope without 130.000 loss of staff, is unreal, dangerous and deluded. I know of doctors who want to come here to train, only to return to their country and apply their learned expertise.

I also know of nurses and doctors who come here from Europe, whatever one might want to say about that, our neighbours next door and the globalisation everyone espoused to, now dead due to increasing Nationalism, has also meant a globalisation of labour forces.

Your points on funding are very interesting. Lack of funding is a major concern and you rightly point out the need to change the funding model. Also agree that much more has to go into the training of doctors and nurses as it is quite wrong that they have to load up on personal debt for a considerable number of years throughout their training.

Don’t speak complete s*** about things you have no understanding of and is nothing to do with Brexit.

As I keep saying a poster keeps pulling people up about posting on the wrong thread, but doesn’t pull you up, so I guess you are the same person.

If you want to talk about vaccines why not talk about the deal the EU has with Pfizer to manufacture and purchase 1.8 BILLION doses, let’s hope we don’t have to beg them for our 60 million doses in September.

Yes, we need to have a bit of order here with comments relevant to the thread subject otherwise it becomes an unmanageable free-for-all without a natural flow.

£350 million a week should do it.

Everyone saying something good about Britain please keep it up (PS. Half the things mentioned who was in power, and it didn't make any difference to what happened)

It's a shame that the only time you joined in it wasn't true, with the thousands, probably millions of examples to choose from you failed miserably.

Those of us who love our country are very disappointed.

You can't blame his neighbours for wanting mod cons like walls and a roof. Fair play to them for being upwardly mobile.

Hahahahaha! very likely it was, KG's point was that it has an IQ higher than yours, something that you don't deny, thus proving his point. Perhaps you can rub those two brain cells together and muster something that is actually relevant to the thread (don't worry, we won't expect it to be remotely intelligent, just relevant for a change).

Marine Le Pen has missed out in the French regional elections.

In a snub, the turnouts were low as young French voters said they were turned off by politics at the moment.

So the far right have lost out to the centre right.

The IBN are a pro Brexit group who don't really have the credibility of the CBI who deal in the reality of business not biased conclusions like the IBN.

That's a weird conclusion that 'Britain is becoming the best' considering were are the same as France and Germany who are in the EU, maybe if we'd stayed in the EU we would be doing even better.

https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1455087/Brexit-live-eu-uk-city-of-london-global-britain-brussels-paris-frankfurt-latest

The report’s findings mirror an attractiveness survey by accountancy firm EY which found that the UK, France and Germany are virtually tied in their appeal to foreign investors.

With investment into the UK running at 4 times that of the all the 27 EU countries combined, and 2.4 times that of France, your figures are like remainers, completely wrong

If Blair didn't get the urge to lie about invading other countries, he'd actually have been a pretty good PM. Iraq wrecked him, really.
