Yes of course there is corruption in the EU. It would be amazing if there wasn't.

Oddly 79% (more) think there is corruption in their own nations.

There is also corruption in the UK  - 100% guaranteed.

You really are a simpleton.

I haven't met a 9 year old who doesn't think they know it all.

A misleading title as shown by the first sentence:

73% of Europeans think there is corruption in the EU institutions, according to a Eurobarometer survey published today (15 February). This compares to 79% who think there is corruption in their national institutions.

The highest levels of EU distrust were found in Sweden, Austria and Belgium. The lowest levels were in Poland, Malta and Bulgaria. The figure is slightly down from the 76% who thought there was EU corruption in 2009.

Anyone who thinks that there is a major institution in any country or organisation which is free from some level of corruption must be living in cloud cuckoo land. Interrestingly, the figure above shows that citizens felt their own country's institutions to be more corrupt than the EU's (Well done EU!).

Indeed, but the EU is full of corruption and has not balanced its books since inception.

Recent events show it is aiming to equal China in the way that it manipulates its own citizens with lies and propaganda.

... and now apparently it is blaming AZ for thrombosis deaths :

Do you think Jool's could rename this thread again as the Warning : Fake News Brexit Thread or perhaps the Warning Mythical Brexit Thread. At least it would then be consistent with the Trade Description Act.

With SC & PM putting up debunked rubbish I was wondering if we could let them then rant in their own little padded asylum. We'd look in occasionally to see if sanity had returned.

I will return to my 'Reprise' thread - rational factual arguments or opinions please.

poor simple mouse brain and his bleat about the freeport

"But opponents say they don't boost employment overall, and moving economic activity from one place to another comes at a cost to the taxpayer."

a huge cost  on forfeited tax, to have construction in the same place as similar North Sea windfarm construction

a fairly damning indictment of Tory business failure over the past decade

ps should we add the lost tax revenue as a further Brexit cost to the nation ?

Stop anti vaxing. They have suspended to confirm no links, as you have to. This is nothing to do with your eu claims, it is to do with safety and concerns to a particular batch.
In the true reports they ( Denmark etc ) have said highly unlikely to be connected.

Pathetic lies again, this is what it actually says in the link YOU posted:

DENMARK has temporary stopped using the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine after several health scares, it has announced.

The Danish health authority has reported some cases of blood clots amongst people who had recently received the jab. The temporary ban comes despite the European Medicines Agency still authorising the Oxford-produced vaccine for use across EU member states. Estonia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Iceland and Latvia have announced similar restrictions after Austrian health chiefs suspended an AstraZeneca batch after a 49-year-old woman died of multiple thromboses 10 days after receiving a jab.

Danish health minister Magnus Heunicke tweeted that it wasn’t clear whether the clots were linked to the vaccine.

He said: “The health authorities have, due to precautionary measures, suspended vaccination with AstraZeneca following a signal of a possible serious side effect in the form of fatal blood clots.

Indeed

Tomorrow we are giving 1000 AZ doses, and thanks to people like mad moy this will be a hard sell. Denmark ( and 5 other countries ) have said it is highly unlikely to be the vaccine, but under their regulatory rules they must confirm this is the case. You may remember it was suspended before due to an adverse situation in the trials. Even Raab has backed the regulatory decision of Denmark. If ( highly unlikely ) there was proved a connection mad moy would be telling us they did nothing about it.

Norway in December suspended Pfizer for ten days and Moy was telling everybody that would listen there was a possibility of adverse side effects to get at the EU.

It really is disturbing that some are adopting the same tactic as Trump, no wonder they supported him, and just lying. Its not really a proper debate when people have to retort to lies. It just obfuscates everything.

The horrific reality of Brexit explained very clearly by a UK cheese producer. Perhaps Swindon, Moy, or Jools would like to tell this man what he has got wrong (somehow I don't think they will):

With @SwindonCanary and @paul moy regularly giving false information on the EU vaccine roll out thought it worth updating you on the true developments. Yesterday they approved the single dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine and they will receive 200 million doses over the next couple of months. They are set to approve 4 more vaccines over the next 6 weeks. Last month despite what mad moy tells you being a major manufacturer in the world they exported 9 million doses to us in the UK.

Yesterday they crashed through the 1.25 million in a day barrier and are increasing their daily doses rapidly. They will likely at this rate be approaching 2 million by the end of the month.

This is very good news for us to as it means our close neighbours will be vaccinated and that ensures the world will also be moving on.

Great news Wbb. But you do realise that this will upset Moy and ruin his day (hopefully), he's desperate for more EU citizens to die from Covid.
