Hey, there is a silver lining. The UK has a 1.5 billion modernization program of its forces, including a fighting drone contract for Belfast, whioch in 5 years time might be part of the EU proper.

TNS are based in England. There are a few teams in England that play in Wales

As far as I know, because they are 2 different associations, there is no promotion/relegation between England and Wales

The Welsh teams that play in the English system do so because there was no Welsh leagues when they formed

I guess there is no barrier to a team applying to join a league in a different association, subject to conditions, like Gretna did

and that was the answer our resident liar did not want to admit to, after being caught out falsely claiming that there were no other Welsh clubs playing in the English system,

then claiming that Welsh clubs would no longer be able to qualify to be promoted to English leagues

having been caught it he tried the 'hand crank defence' which involves making up something to knockdown instead

this bigot once again tied himself in knots by his own xenophobia, coupled with his usual inability to either check first or even have any knowledge of what he is whining about

the five Welsh clubs have been in English leagues for at least 100 years, and when the Welsh Premier League was formed  in 1992 they declined to join - something easy to find via Google

but the as is Swindo's motto - why look up the truth when a lie will back your hate

Yes indeed, and isn't it heartwarming that a party which totally disbelieved the concept of magic money trees and relentlessly mocked those who were inclined to believe in them have now discovered that not only do they exist but they're not even a rare species - apparently look around virtually any corner you like and there's a magic tree with a few billion to spend on whatever takes your fancy 😂

Very strange though why it's taking so long to find the one that has the NHS and other public service workers pay rise on it 😠

Indeed

I wonder where the £350 million a week went. Despite the vaccine programme going so well a donor has just been paid millions to help, maybe that counts as some of it.

I know why you lot are having ago at me, it's because you can't say anything good about staying in the EU

Some time ago I answered your question but you seem to have forgotten to get back to me. So I'll repeat it to give you another chance:

"compare and contrast the following two articles and then tell me whether we were not better off in the EU:

First, Boris' lies about "frictionless free-trade" on December 30th: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-55486081

Second, the reality: https://www.msn.com/en-gb/money/other/the-bill-for-boris-johnson-s-brexit-is-coming-in-and-it-s-punishingly-steep/ar-BB1d2KW7?ocid=msedgdhp

Have the balls to admit you fell for the lies the Brexiteers fed you. Or do you genuinely want to claim that the Government telling businesses to relocate to the EU in order to avoid collapse because of the post Brexit trading requirements, constitutes some kind of peverse victory. Even you can not be that stupid."

not here, it would seem - maybe they don’t think it is worth spending money on stuff that will soon have to be taken down

"Infrastructure development for the UK’s new post-Brexit border is falling behind because of a shortage of government funding and Whitehall bureaucracy, leading British ports have warned."

Swindon told us about the problems with the EU ambassador status, and after debate today this is what the Lords thought.

'Squandering goodwill'

The issue has also been debated in the Lords, with peers criticising the government's decision.

Labour former Cabinet minister Lord Reid said it would be seen by the international community as "peevish and vindictive", urging ministers to "reverse this blunder and do the honourable thing".

Tory Baroness Hooper also called the decision "gratuitously offensive" to the EU, specifically Portugal where the new ambassador is from, and the Liberal Democrat Baroness Ludford said the government was "squandering goodwill" and acting in a "petty" fashion.

brexit is possibly one of the stupidest ideas in UK history - that's why it won't happen - and no amount of constant whining by you bunch of racists will change that

ps if you want to really know what folk think then ask yourself what their thoughts were on the death of 39 illegal immigrants - I can guess at the thoughts of a few on here

Wow, congratulations. So Brexit happened, and everyone can now see that it was in fact one of the stupidest ideas in UK history.

Got anything else?

Another sad and tired attempt at straw-clutching as it slowly dawns on you that everything you've said on here over the past three years slips through your old fingers and turns to dust as we sail off to the golden land of Brexit leaving you behind in your dank, wretched hovel polishing the blood-encrusted jackboots of your EU masters.

sail off, rather like the Mary Rose

only more a case of Money Lose,  in this case

.................unless UK companies relocate to the golden land of the EU 🤣

where they might be able to get bagster le builder to put up their new premises

Good read.

https://www.thelondoneconomic.com/business-economics/moodys-pass-judgement-on-johnsons-trade-deal-skewed-in-the-eus-favour/26/01/

Moody’s pass judgement on Johnson’s trade deal “skewed in the EU’s favour”

It concludes that while the Brexit agreement avoids a no-deal scenario, "it largely lacks substance in areas vital to the UK economy".

As a result Benedicte Andries, Moody’s analyst and co-writer of the report, says the UK economy will be significantly smaller over the longer term.

An utter pile of crap from a discredited site. I suggest you take a look at what is actually happening right now rather than the "straw man" tosh being claimed by this awful rubbush. The web, twitter, radio, etc. is awash with thousands of horrendous stories of the disasters being caused by the dreadful Brexit deal. The fact you find solace in this purely speculative tripe shows just how desperate you are to find something positive to say. Find us some actual cases of businesses posting that their situation has improved because of Brexit (and ffs don't post the Nissan story yet again, find a case where huge amounts of tax-payers money has not been used to bribe the business concerned).

Now that does really read like the EU (or at least the French) are turning the screws deliberately, still who’s fault is it nothing was negotiated in the Brexit trade deal to prevent that happening?

Why are all the bigoted Brexiteers referring to the EU hating us and how they’re not playing fair!
Why would the EU be helpful? We decided to basically compete directly against the EU in other markets, so like we all told you for the last four years, our export businesses to the EU will suffer and slowly betaken away from the UK and placed with other member EU countries!
You chose this path stop bleating about it! It’s like dumping your rich wife of 40 years for a younger poorer lover who lies to get you but once they’ve got what they want you get ditched as they move to a tax haven, now you’ve got little to offer....it might have looked good at the time but the now you can’t go running back to the wife and expect it all to be the same!

So, the actual results of the Brexit FTA so far amount to the following:

1. Massive increase in paper work

2. Massive increase in export/import costs

3. Massive increase in delivery times

4. Massive reduction in goods being exported

5. Massive losses incured by exporters to the EU

So, an actual massive fu*ck-up then, and not just the speculative massive fu*ck-up that many of us predicted would obviously happen. No massive suprise there then.

They are bleating because the easy transition is a long way off so it couldn't be the UKs fault so blame the EU. And the easiest way is to get beligerent with them.
