Nobody is suggesting that these papers aren't biased, in fact one has a giant clue in its title.  But to suggest the press in general is left leaning is clearly absurd.

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2021/feb/24/brexit-trade-delays-getting-worse-uk-border-survey-finds

Dr John Glen, a CIPS economist and visiting fellow at the Cranfield School of Management, said: “We are well into the second month of the new arrangements and the hope that delays at the border would reduce as freight volumes returned to normal and customs systems became used to the new processes has not come to pass.

He added: “The knock-on impact of these delays will trickle far down the supply chain and ultimately result in stock shortages and inflated prices for consumers.”

Julie Burchill

"the writing equivalent of screaming and throwing things"

Burchill's career arc, and that of her former fellow traveller Toby Young and ex-hisbandTony Parsons, illustrates a wider truth behind the post-truth view that the media is left wing. Her contrarian ironic columns in the Guardian and the Modern Review provided an interesting counterpoint to prevailing views. However, this kind of writing is now easily churned out by any right wing hack in the Torygraph, Mail, Sun or Express. It is just boring. More relevant it reflects the majority view/hacks career path making the idea that the MSM is leftwing totally ridiculous. Finally, it is of course based on falsehoods.

Add to that Claire Fox, Allison Pearson, Melanie Phillips....the list goes boringly on and on of raddled reactionary hacks who dropped any principled interest in political debate in order to coin a few quid for writing obnoxious ill-informed mass-media tripe.

You said all the press was left wing. And please stop using "winged" unless you are trying to claim that the press really do possess actual wings like a plane or a bird.

George Useless didn't read the agreement and is desperately trying to blame the EU. Only an idiot would fall for it.

And let's not forget the irony involved in the fact that the UK was more influential than anybody in drawing up the EU rules that he wants to break.

There are no "scallop wars". The Uk negotiated at great length an agreement for trade and cooperation with the EU. The UK wanted to be free of EU regulation, and this agreement ensures that. It was ratified in Parliament. The agreement left the UK free to diverge from EU standards and implemented border controls, taking back control.

All the EU is doing is implementing the agreement.

The UK cannot do the same because the country is a shambles.

How long ago was it that Boris described it as an "oven-ready" deal? Fu*ck knows what oven he put it into but the damn thing is still half-baked and inedible.
