Aside from the all too predictable  mockery of the DM, this goes to the very heart if the problem we now face

The UK media continuously blatantly lying with virtually no redress. Forty years of spinning stories by putting them out in some pre WW1 jingoistic style left a feeling among many that so many of the UK's woes could be solved by escaping the clutches of this undemocratic, money wasting monolith.

Where North Korea had it's undemocratic southern neighbour, the Miuddle East had the unbelievers of the west. Why, even Trumo was in on it claiming he was fighting a cabal of paedophile cannibals running a secret state inside the US.

So the EU was the UKs own 'bogey man', Its own Eurasia and Estonia.

The Jews of 1930's Germany were replaced by the EU citizens of todays UK - hell bent in stealing jobs, houses and benefits.

So we fell off the cliff due to the blind stupidity of those who want the world portrayed in simple terms (like themselves) one where the UK and everything done in it’s oast was solely aimed at enriching the ungrateful furriner

Charity begins at home said those frustrated at the UK being taken advantage if. So what better way than to raise the drawbridge. Put up barriers that have taken decades to bring down and delude themselves that isolation and backward looking is the way

Actually the headline, which is based on one hidden-away line, doesn't reflect the tone of the story, which is as much about how the UK is not prepared for the extra bureaucracy. And I would be surprised if Hardman doesn't know that Switzerland is a different case. It is the headline only that makes it look as if he doesn't.

I find it incredibly difficult to have much sympathy with much of the fishing industry - apart from the few who who didn't vote Brexit. It was obvious to all that the customs delays and non-tariff barriers would be killer (let alone a no-deal with tariffs) to their carefully built up niche industry supplying EU markets. 

Generally there are now far more deserving cases for  financial support in the Brexit s h i t show.

Suggest they find some other occupation - looking after all those Brexity flag waving pensioners etc.

It's harsh but true.

For 50,000 small businesses their sole trade is with the EU.

Some will survive, some maybe able to move their whole operation into the EU, the rest will just with away. Companies like Honda will not return, nor will be replaced. Others will follow suit by simply winding down their UK operations and investing back into the EU.

Norwich City are part of the Football League, meaning all games played stick to agreed laws when playing games - makes playing other teams that much easier

Brexit FC thinks it would be better not to have agreement over the laws of the game, and it would be better if they could just make up the rules when it suits them. Unsurprisingly within a few minutes of the first game it seems to have all come unstuck.

I wonder why no other club thought making up their own rules was a good idea.

Question time is not solely about brexit therefore the panel make up is about a having a rough mixture of views.

Where the real problem lies is allowing people like Farage to spout lies without there being any redress,

As the show does not go out live then there should be plenty of time for a 5 minute segment after of fact checking - or 30 mins when Farage has been on (22 times)

There's this story from O'Brien that was the straw that made him leave Newsnight. The BBC and its "balance", although admirable in some respects, let a lot of charlatans, frauds and no-nothings get a large and regular say. See Nigel Lawson/climate change for example.
