No idea, but I'm sure it's not as big as you say ! And we can get the parts from the UK.

Exactly...... no idea

No idea of what companies pay into the EU to have tariff free trade.... as you say, it is not free as they have to pay to be a member

but you appear to have not the slightest idea

should I tell you ?

No

I can categorically say it is you who are yet again wrong

You who is too thick to know that companies do not pay to be members of the EU, or to trade tariff free either

Had you known this you would have stated this. But, as we know, you have not the slightest idea about this beyond the lies and misinformation you regularly spout on here - being too stupid to recognise them being as such....lies.

Thinking that companies, not UK ones at that pay to be members of the EU has to be one of the most stupid and ill-informed idiocies you have posted.

As I said when they announced the closing of the Swindon plant it's all going back to Japan apart for those without a trade deal with them

eh ?

what is that supposed to mean ?

What he means is Free Trade means our trading partners can keep their factories in their own countries rather than setting up satellite factories in the countries they want to sell into. Which is why the UK wants a Free Trade Agreement as soon as possible with the US and other countries, so the US and Japan can transfer production back there, rather than here.

Is that clear now?

What the UK needs is not a Free Trade Agreement, but rather a Market Access Agreement, which basically says we have a market of 60 million consumers, and if you want access to our market then these are the rules by which you need to play. This is the way the EU operates essentially, why certain businesses have been the ones bitching about it the most because they don't want to spend any money to access a market, or pay for the common infrastructure, they just want unrestricted access to it and to decide what to do with their profits - which is fine until it's the company is a multinational conglomerate who can go tax haven shopping....

This is what the idiotic brexit has done. From being members of the largest free trade network ever to "growing the customs sector". Clowns. Utter clowns.

The last page of this document claims to be benefits and it is the biggest load of waffle, expecially this claim, that we will have

"greater influence on the agenda of the European Commission, the World Customs Organisation, the G7, G8 and G20 on trade facilitation discussions and agreements"

you wrote - "This is what the idiotic brexit has done. From being members of the largest free trade network ever to "growing the customs sector". Clowns. Utter clowns."   That does not sound very positive !

may I remind you this is the positive Brexit thread.

Here's a reminder:

Sterling is now 10% higher against the dollar and 2% higher against the Euro 👍- This despite the duplicity of the EU, hence Brexit talks going nowhere 🙃

Of course Remainiacs only chip in with misleading b0ll0x when sterling rarely dips 🤪

The promises of Brexit are like being sold Ursula Andress emerging from the Caribbean, but being delivered by Ann Widdecombe emerging from Whitley Bay.

"Sterling is now 10% higher against the dollar and 2% higher against the Euro 👍"

I'm not sure what dates you are basing this on but the Dollar and Euro rates have been roughly the same for a long time, other than a bit of a blip at the beginning of lockdown. This stuff is easy to check.
