Galileo project.

Queueing at airports.

A stable Northern Ireland.

Frictionless trade to over half a billion people.

Food safety standards.

Galileo project. Yes, that's a club we miss out on., but there's loads of other projects we remain in.

Queueing at airports. Why do we have to turn up hours before a flight ? Do you see much delay in the none EU Countries =NO

A stable Northern Ireland.  That was the  British and Irish Governments, the EU had no input

Frictionless trade to over half a billion people. At a price that is artificially high and is a closed club,(costing a load of money to be in) and not allowing Countries to trade with anyone else

Food safety standards. We have our own Government department to withhold standards.

Our favourite idiot decides we have a Government department to suppress food safety standards.

UKs farmers will probaly agree that seems to be the current strategy.

It is disturbing to think they maybe others out there just as clueless

the idea that the EU stops the UK from trading with non EU countries

what next ?

a Student Union discount card stops you from using shops other that the SU shop ?

Barclaycard means you can only buy stuff from Barclays, as with a nectar which only allows you to buy from Sainsbury's and a few others

how many more are out there are also as ignorant ?

Debating with Swindo is like playing chess with a pigeon. He knocks over all the pieces, ****s on the board and then struts around like he has won.

I'm not sure if pointing out someone's stupidity falls into the realm of 'debating'

dear god !

we can trade with who we want, and we do

however around 60 countries outside of the EU have a very beneficial deal  with the EU, which we trade through as members

do you not understand something as simple as that ?

ie you have a trade card with B&Q , Travis Perkins and Screwfix - but that does not stop you buying from anywhere else - that is what being an EU meber is about

Maybe you should read this https://fullfact.org/europe/trade/

nothing there backs your absurd claims that the UK cannot trade with various countries because of the EU

any wonder others are ridiculing you, yet again

Sometimes Bill, it's not worth making such straightforward points. Clearly this Swindon poster is here not to reflect or be influenced in any way by  reasoning or even reciprocal argument. I am guessing the main motive is to keep a thread going which maintains contact but not to reflect or think. It would be good to have more of a debate.

Terrorism. Yes.

A stable Northern Ireland.  That was the  British and Irish Governments, the EU had no input

Both EU states with single market and custom union status helped an enormous amount.

Frictionless trade to over half a billion people. At a price that is artificially high and is a closed club,(costing a load of money to be in) and not allowing Countries to trade with anyone else

Bilge. See other replies.

They just voted against food standards.

The points are made to a wider audience, whilst accepting your point

From personal experience I have found brexiteers to be exceedingly ignorant of the basics of how the EU works, or even how trade with other countries work - so  at least  his stupidity does provide a means to counter such ignorance

and as stated by others, his inability to even form coherent sentences would suggest there is something 'missing'

To be fair to @SwindonCanary it was his "teacher" wife who didn't want to teach the kids who were foreign.
