The Positive Brexit Thread

Actually Paul, you did. How we left was not on the ballot paper. You yourself have used that argument many times when it suited you, so I must assume your choice is now that we remain in the EU as you are clearly not in favour of leaving.

LOL...... staying under ECJ control is not leaving, and one of the main criteria in the referendum debates was that we leave the auspices of the ECJ. Any disputes will be held under ECJ control so we are wide open to coercion and fines by the EU. That is not leaving and the people will reap their wrath on the LIb/Lab/Con if they pass this bill instead of making a clean break.

One of the other main criteria was 350million per week for the NHS, not joining the imaginary EU army (which 4 years later is still imaginary), and not having 70 million Turkish migrants flooding the country (which 4 years later Turkey is still a million miles from joining the EU and doesn't even want to, a policy it has pursued for at least 6 or 7 years now).... so we'll call it quits on that fornt shall we?

You don't want to leave, why can't you just admit it. You knew what you were voting for, leaving by any means necessary, and now you have the chance to back it, you're running scared and making excuses why we shouldn't. Entertaining as it is, it seems a trifle spineless to me that a proud patriot such as yourself would be so adamant about blocking the will of the people and refusing to leave the EU....

Rees Mogg thinks a genuine question about a ban on the sale of fireworks to the public is a joke.

Socialists wanting to stop people having fun.

Never realised Lord Snooty was such a fun guy.

So we have BJ voted in as leader primarily on a promise to get us out of the EU in the 31 Oct. A single objective upon which he will spectacularly fail and his whole Cabinet now having to scramble to try and ameliorate his failure.

We then have Steptoe who faced with one of the weakest governments in history has his own party squabbling about whether they want an election.

Whatever next?

I just downloaded Google's Quantum Leap and asked it to explain what is happening with Brexit and it said it would take over 10,000 years to work it out.

None of us voted for Brexit in name only.  Boris may well come a cropper on this.

You forget that the Benn Act was enacted by remoaners to thwart leaving on 31st Oct. The irony is that we could still leave if just one EU country vetoes the extension that this dishonest treacherous parliament requested.

The irony is that you love to spout ‘remoaners’, yet all you do is moan and whinge, like a man baby. Waah waa waa 👶🏻 👶🏻

Johnson won the premiership and garnered support by making a promise that was not in his gift and unsuprisingly failed to fufill it.

End of

mouse brain lying again, does he never stop ?

MPs DO NOT have a mandate, they are representatives not delegates

no one made any promises - you were just too stupid to understand what was written

now have a look and tell us all where it says the Labout Party will vote to enact brexit - it doesn't.... they are politicians

brexit is possibly one of the stupidest ideas in UK history - that's why it won't happen - and no amount of constant whining by you bunch of racists will change that

ps if you want to really know what folk think then ask yourself what their thoughts were on the death of 39 illegal immigrants - I can guess at the thoughts of a few on here

Do you get the feeling neither party wants to be lumbered with Brexit?

You've had your chance. 3 odd years of chaos. Still none the wiser of what you want. Time to clear off and let the grown ups take over.

Yup, time for all remoaners to go and collect P45s.    They are the weakest link.

Monsuir Macron may be giving you some cause for hope for no deal Paul, or maybe an extension to be conditional on a political event?
