An update

"A Survation opinion poll gives the Conservatives a 6-point lead today, the lowest since early October – so does this mean the election race is becoming closer?

Survation puts the Tories on 35 per cent and Labour on 29 per cent, a result that could give Boris Johnson a majority of just 18 seats, according to the model used by the Electoral Calculus website. "

And with the tactical voting already suggested then i would certaintly lead to no party having a majority, Survation are fairly accurate as their model is to focus on 'certainty of voting' rather than just 'who will you vote for'. But it is still only a snap shot of a few thousand a month before the vote.

However the trend does seem to be of the Tory lead slowly decreasing, though I uspect we are yet to see the effect of Farage bottling it - which if as the right have been claiming was made up a huge amount of former Labour voters it should see an increase for both.

But with a month to go there's 'many a slip between cup and lip'

Any news on that we are not leaving story?

selective polling ?

whereas your own rogue poll is not selective 😂

and Survation has proven to be far more accurate  than all the others, however even then there were plenty enough conditional comments included in my post

but given how you have been wrong every time I will accept that you have a point that you must be right at some point

ps are you still pro socialist or was that yesterday otherwise I shall bid you adios as there s little to be gained from engaging with an habitual liar/fantasist

A rogue poll?

You do understand the meaning of a poll of polls, surely?

typical brexiteer

Jesus Christ! Whites are merely 10% of the world population!

I thought you Lefty nutjobs favoured minorities, ffs.

It is a fact that Hubert had plenty of time to sort out his citizenship and it has nothing to do with the colour of his skin.

but not 62 years as you claimed, hence you posting as Jools rather than RTB

and this is not about the world's population either

which does rather point yet again to you being hand crank as he is all too fond of this trick of trying to misdirect when caught out lying......as highlighted above

much as why bagster and Len have been sidelined, and Disco Dale has also fallen silent

and it is becoming all too easy now - even others may begin to twig it's you behind these numerous saddos

Wow. Who'd thought that a thread on Brexit would have made 100 pages?

FWIW, this is not a thread about Brexit. Jools started this thread to focus discussion on The Brexit Party, to provide a place where we can discuss all aspects of the Party’s positive agenda for Britain, their electoral strategies and successes and their detailed policies and plans.

Please don’t drag this thread off subject.

Thankyou.

You're a nasty piece of work aren't you. The reason I still fight against Brexit and the evil it will bring to this country.

Wonder if you'd have lacked compassion if the chap was white?

And also, no you stupid, moronic d!ckhead; try reading the article. You know less about Windrush as you do politics, which is already the square root of f**k all.

If he had a winning lottery ticket I doubt he would have taken 59 years to claim the winnings.

On the other hand ...

I see we baby boomers are getting a good kicking. I thought we had been punished enough, having to grow up with rationing still in place, with dingy terraced houses with outside loos, and with Educating Archie and Life With The Lyons being regarded as cutting-edge comedy, but plainly not...🤧

As you are no doubt aware it is less about the entire generation as a cohort and more about a particular mindset within that generation. One that encourages the criticism of a caricuture of subsequent generations without understanding how the country arrived at the current situation (clue - it wasn't through the votes and actions of millennial snowflakes)

I’ve not been following the “generational” debate on here, but as an observation extreme views are not the constituency of a particular generation in the U.K. or anywhere else in the world.

I read this article and thought, what an idiot, give votes to animals? What a stupid idea.

Then I visited this thread and realised that Jools and RTB have the vote. Never mind horses that are cleverer than these two wombat-level morons, their digestive systems produce organic matter with more intelligence. So, if Jools and RTB are allowed to vote, why not trot Frankel down to the polling station? He'd make a more informed vote than those two idiots.

You should, it is interesting and relevant to both the EU debate and the GE. I don't know if it is an age thing but I see the millenials taking a lot of stick they don't deserve to which they do not respond in kind.

Their responses tend to be like those of CanaryDan23. A 'fine' example of Millenial behaviourisms.

I call a spade a spade. If you don't want to be called a cowardly, snivelling moron then don't act like one.

And if you do act like a cowardly, snivelling moron and someone calls you out for it, then no one gives a sh*t if your feelings are hurt; the fact I'm still posting here after your numerous pathetic dashes to Pete to snitch shows as much.

Man up, snowflake.

When you say 'they' destroyed all his and many others paperwork, I 'd put good money on the odds you didn't know that half of the 164 Windrush removals and detentions began under Labour between 2002 and 2010 when David Blunkett, Charles Clarke, John Reid, Jacqui Smith and Alan Johnson were Home Secretaries...

That's because you never research anything, Hermione -- Like the other Lefty, virtue signallers on here and at your treasured BBC & Guardian you see Windrush as purely a stick to beat the Right/Tories with?

Pathetic.

Well done David Gauke. A good tory, with principles.

He knows he has no chance of being elected, but by standing he doesn't lose his retrenchment allowance.

But yeah, principles, Hermione 😀

The sad fact is that thick, gullible, prejudiced easily led youngsters eventually turn out to be thick, prejudiced easily led pensioners. All that happens with age is that the enthusiasm and idealism of youth tends to evolve into 'it was better in my day' and 'I was hard done by' culture or blame somebody else. Still as thick as pitch.

Frankly for most it does take some higher education or experience of peoples and systems well beyond our shores to be able to challenge one's own prejudices - to be prepared to question what many take on 'trust' or 'self-evident' when it is no such thing.  As the old Catholic saying goes "Give me the child for the first seven years and I will give you the man".

Clearly there are many in our society who fit this description - hence the fact free zones of faith  (or twisted cherry picked pseudo-facts) that populate social media and sadly our modern politics.

Sadly there has been far too many Catholics saying 'Give me the child for the first seven years' and your theory didn't work out too well.

What is a fact, however, is that whereas most young people, imbued with the spirit of innocence and naivity, do vote for left-leaning parties. But as they grow-up, take on responsibilities, gain experience and wisdom, end up voting for right-leaning parties.

It's fortunate that the majority of electors votes for the right (Labour has been in power for only thirty-seven of its one hundred and twenty year history - and many Lefties consider the thirteen Blair/Brown New Labour years as an aberration of leftie doctrine), so we are usually spared of the madness that a labour government brings.

Of course, we are still left with that rump of old Labourites, who were either too proud, too delusional or perhaps even too thick to grow-up with the rest of us and still hanker after the good old days when the Manchester Guardian wrote leader columns supporting the Soviet Union and the CND.
