Jools 584 Posted October 13, 2019 (edited) 3 hours ago, Herman said: Yep!!👍😀 The term 'mouthbreather' invented by a conservative has been about for decades and originated in the US. American conservative blogger, Ed Morrissey, famously wrote the following: January 23, 2006 The New Know-Nothings Ed Morrissey at Captain's Quarters exposes the antics of Leftist virtual book burners afflicting Amazon.com. Conservative titles have been systematically targeted for "egraffiti" including phony cover pictures and scurrilous "reviews". Captain Ed sums it up in his own inimitable fashion: That's not the actions of people who have confidence in themselves. Those are the actions of a fearful, small-minded, vulgar group of Neanderthals who have suddenly seen **** sapiens and realized that their days are numbered. These mouthbreathers cannot offer any new ideas, so instead of trying to compete with conservatives, they're busy with the electronic equivalent of sticking their fingers into their ears and shouting, "LA-LA-LA-LA, NO ONE CAN HEAR YOU!!" as loudly as possible. As per you Lefties have to hijack a term because you rarely have an original thought and when you do it's usually a daft one 😜 Edited October 13, 2019 by Jools
A Load of Squit 5,161 Posted October 13, 2019 "Brexit party MEPs vote against plans to tackle Russian propaganda Resolution seeking upgrade of EU counter-disinformation unit nevertheless passes easily" What a daft idea, encouraging electoral interference, fortunately the democratic EU Parliament saw sense. SwindonCanary 455 Posted October 13, 2019 If there is a new Deal (as it looks likely now Sea Border is back on the table), anybody really thinks EU will approve a new extension if UK Parliament rejects the deal?

Seeing as they have already stated that they would, have guess. What you should be asking is what else those opposing brexit have planned for the forthcoming months as it should be clear that Remain did not act unilaterally over the 'Benn Act' and did so with the backing of the EU. Which would mean they most ikely have a path mapped out for bringing this to and end. Sat 19th should see Parliament take another step forward towards that aim, set against a back drop of a million or so outside that building demonstrating their support for the UK remaining in the EU. And I would further suggest that Johnson's negotiating has all to do with the forthcoming election than ever it has on trying to make the impossible, possible. kick it off 1,948 Posted October 13, 2019 We don't have a democracy to defend. We have an illusion of democracy where only about 10% of the population actually have a vote that carries any sway due to our antiquated voting system. That's before even talking about the Tories gerrymandering the constituencies to benefit themselves too.
