Can't get the streams to work but stats indicate a battering for PNE?

All of Leeds efforts have been from distance.

Leeds have lacked quality in the final third. Preston happy with a point as Ricardo said. I'd wager Leeds will nick it though as they are the better team.

Just realised FLDC for Derby can also be rearranged into a Leeds acronym....

FDLC - I'll let you guys work it out 😉

Now, avoiding the temptation for naughty words because this is a family forum, I get Dirty Leeds, Championship Forever!

Cricfree back now - was getting 404 message despite hammering the F5 button many times...because that always works!

Preston being pushed off their game by Leeds pressing. Not so much quality in evidence for either team but so much at stake I suppose.

Looks like both teams feel the pressure and are therefore not able to build attacks patiently.

Looks though like Leeds will take this match the way it's panned out so far ...noting those stats above.

I was also thinking Dirty Leeds Championship Failures.

Be careful, you'll drag this site into the depths of WACCOE with a potty mouth like that!

Yes, I'd take a draw now. Preston would need to score first to get anything but have barely threatened. If Leeds score it's over.

Whatever Leeds or any other team's merits there's nobody with our levels of skill or nous in this division. The way we can bring a ball down, control instantly, move into space & place the ball with the right weight in the path of a team mate are phenomenal. This is right through the team -it's like watching a team of Maddisons (well nearly). We never panic & just hoof the ball forward but have the confidence to play risky balls in tight spaces (which is sometimes our undoing!). I've lost count of the number of slide-rule passes through the opposition midfield, the number of times a triangle of players have passed their way down the touchline before someone (usually Onel) emerges with the ball & bursts down the wing.

It's breathtaking stuff. If we can keep this up we'll be an ornament to the EPL next year.

Happy with that. Lies, damned lies and statistics!

And that neatly explains why the 'stats' from Saddo.com are meaningless

sure they will tell you how many passes were 'completed, how much time we spent in their half the total distance throws went.... blah blah blah

but they don't explain the real game in any way

last season we spent ages tippity tap outside the opposition box (great stats) whereas this seaso we have seen goals scored from fast clinical breaks

a shot that hits row z from 15 yards out equals one that misses the bar from 30 yards out

However did Preston beat us they look crap

Caught us cold with 2 early goals and it was too bigger hill to climb thereafter

We had 20 shots to their 4 that night..which as  i said on the night , I'd happily take in every game for the rest of the season

Gonna be extra tough for AN now. A gust of wind has blown Bamford over and triggered a red card.

It was a clear red

In this position versus 10 men and their general dominance, Leeds should in fairness be able to win this in style

Considering his technical ability only, Bamford would fit in very well with our system - more so than when he joined us a couple of years ago.

Cliche ALERT: Question marks over his attitude though. Cliche ALERT ALL CLEAR.
