Countdown to promotion is on.

Recommended Posts

Leeds now 8 points behind and 10 goals behind on GD.

We are 7 clear of 2nd, 8 clear of 3rd, 18 points on the table.

Realistically, we are 3 wins away from promotion, even if everybody else wins the rest of their games.

9 points out of 6 games (Mathematically 10, but with that GD it's difficult to see an 11 goal swing in that if we win 3 of the next 6)

With results going our way - we could be promoted at Wigan.

Wigan is the earliest day it can happen if Leeds draw one game and lose the other this week and we win both.

My money is on Stoke away though.

11 points more from 18 remaining and promotion is ours. 3 wins 2 draws or 4 wins from 6.

No, I'm done for this evening. I hope everyone's dreams come true. Mine are the same as all yours - that we get promoted with time to spare....let's hope it all happens as we would all like.

SHEFFIELD UNITED manager Chris Wilder admits his side and Leeds United are more than likely chasing just one automatic promotion place due to the stunning form of leaders Norwich City.
