My biggest January worry

Ok, I''ve accepted now that Deano is off.  However much he goes for though, Worthington (unfortunately I''ve accepted he''ll be here [:''(] ) will be given an absolute mazimum of £3-4M.  Now it''s obviously his intention to sign the loan players on a perminant basis.  This could mean;

1. Dav- £1.5M
2. Etuhu- 500-750K
3. Robinson- 400K
4. Wright- 250K

This could mean, we could spend £3M in January and have exactly the same bloody squad as we do now!

I do not if there is anyway this situation can be avoided.

A defeat and a poor perfomance against Soton may not be enough as the win yesterday probably just confirmed to the board that Nigel is the man to lead the club forward.

I await the next few weeks with trepidation.

Would Norwich really accept anything less than the 6.7 we were offered for Ashton in the summer? Would anyone really want to fork out such money for a player who hasn''t scored for 10 championship games? I hope not!

I''m even more worried that if the Manager is given a pot of £3m to £4m,

if we sell both Greeno and Ashton,  that we shall finish up with

even more mindless chickens. When you look at the signings of the

summer, especially Jarrett and Hughes, I am not inspired by the

prospect of him "blowing" even more on second rate players.

We need a larger squad, but we do not need any like his signings over

the summer. I hope that the Board will withhold some of the proceeds

until the summer when there are more bargains and hopefully a new

manager.

I dont think we should buy Robinson at all, he is as bad as hughes. Etuhu should not be bought for more than 750K either and we should sell Hughes and Jarrett.

I think if Norwich let Ashton go for £4 million there would be such uproar from the fans it would be disastrous for the club! I can''t see the board letting this happen! I''m pretty sure he will leave after his comments and Worthy''s but I think we will get at least £6 million and hopefully more!
