I read Nelson did his hamstring, and is out for 4 weeks, unfortunately.

sonyc 5,510 Posted March 9, 2019 My Predictions (next 2 games): Brentford will give SU a proper game on Tuesday. Draw predicted (69pts) Leeds will beat Reading (73pts) to go top on Tuesday. We will beat Hull (75pts) on Wednesday to go top. Leeds will beat SU Saturday (76pts). SU (69pts) We will beat Rotherham Saturday (78pts). A 3 horse race will become a 2 horse race for the title next Saturday. 9 point gap to 3rd for us. BIG 2 matches!
SwindonCanary 455 Posted March 9, 2019 Looks like we will have to keep on winning to stay on top !
GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary 1,748 Posted March 9, 2019 Expected Bristol C to have put up a better fight than that. Ipswich doing us a favour whilst getting no nearer to safety. Looks a 3 horse race now...it would be pretty wrenching to be the one to lose out from here....and waiting in the playoffs would be the likes of Boro and WBA who would have probably had weeks to get their minds prepared on them.. AJ 1,218 Posted March 9, 2019 It could well come down to Sheffield Vs Leeds. But at the end of the day, if we win all our remaining games it simply won't matter. Just got to concentrate on winning the next game.

Ipswich get a point, but Reading find a way to get all 3 in the 97th minute after being 2-1 down.
Essjayess 307 Posted March 9, 2019 Ya...its for sure any 2 from 3 now. Hoping Leeds beat Sheff Utd next weekend, then providing we do the business against Hull and Rotherham, its a tussle for who are Champions. Two teams that have been flying in recent weeks and who both have an outside chance of 6th place are Brentford and Preston and i believe, if i read it right somewhere, Leeds have to travel away to them both. To be Champions of this division in most seasons you need to slog it out right up to 46 games, but while that would be aweome if City achieved it, i would still settle for 2nd place. Every single game is now vital, every one is now tough, as it should be. But the countdown starts now...10...9...8...etc etc.
SwindonCanary 455 Posted March 9, 2019 I'd still like us to go up as Champions, and win the Football League trophy. It's full of history and great that we will have our name on it again, pretty soon we will be on it as much as Liverpool !

Van wink 2,994 Posted March 10, 2019 The only thing we can do is play our part as a loud supportive crowd. That extra lift that we can give the players is what could get us over the line, when Tim got the crowd going towards the end of the game on Friday night you could see the players respond,, have to keep that atmosphere going for 90+ minutes.
