If we had any ambition we'd want this every week...3 p.m. on a Saturday is such a tinpot kick-off time. 😂

The question is will The Farm Shop on the A17 be open at silly o'clock on a Sunday morning ? 😂

On main page now - seems this might have been a mistake.

Fail to see how any fans could be expected to get from norfolk to wigan for midday on a sunday.

That would infer that Sky give a monkey's about the fans and I'm not convinced they do...

As an aside Crabby, I think you have heard of Big Tommy Adams who used to play for Camborne and Cornwall. He has just had his second leg amputated, due to diabetes as well as a pub lifestyle. Bucket went round at the match on Saturday.

Oh dear, that's a great shame kg, thanks for letting me know. I'll pass that onto my old Club. Tommy the Tin Miner, bless his heart, that'll be a struggle for the big fella.

I wonder if clubs have an appeal process, there are a lot of Norwich games being televised on Sky now.

Looks like i can have a Sunday morning lay in as this appears still to be a Saturday game having looked on both Sky and the club site a couple of minutes ago.

Isn't there some suggestion that the original posting is wrong and that our game will now be a 5.30 k.o on the Saturday and the Leeds v Sheff Wed will move to lunchtime on the Sunday?  Or is that wishful thinking?

If there’s 5:30 Saturday and Noon Sunday slots to fill, it really doesn’t take a genius to work out which game should be played when.  If we are on Sunday that is utterly ridiculous

This is sky we’re talking about, get ready to set your alarms for an early start

The fact that it was ‘sort of’ announced and then pulled does maybe suggest that representations were made.

I'm going up the night before and then, via a time machine, spending the evening dancing to Northern in the Wigan Casino.

Meh, if it is a noon Sunday kick off, a 6:00 am start will be sufficient. Start earlier than that quite often.

It does make you wonder if we’ve objected (.... can clubs do that?), as there were reports that we’d taken the full 5,000 allocation at our risk.

I can't think we'd have taken 5000 at our risk. Wigan aren't going to sell too many home tickets so it's not as though they need the space..

Now confirmed for Sunday linchtime just shows what Sky think of football fans.

Just been confirmed the club are offering cut-price tickets too. £7.50 for adults/£2.50 for under-18s.

Maybe we can use some of the TV money to fund the discount FFS Sky!!
