Alex Moss 2,165 Posted March 4, 2019 Sad news. Great frontman. Thought’s are with friends and family including Peterborough’s Gizz Butt, guitarist of the band during their most successful era. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.bbc.com/news/amp/entertainment-arts-47442312

keelansgrandad 6,679 Posted March 4, 2019 I hope I'm wrong but it sounds like suicide. Great shame that anyone is so far from help that they have to resort to it. Definitely one of the sounds of the 90's when the violence stopped and the dancing started.

BobLoz3 492 Posted March 4, 2019 Very sad news and I have a feeling our very own Duncan Edwards may well be particularly disappointed with this news, given the avatar he's had for some time. RIP Keith
Midlands Yellow 3,924 Posted March 4, 2019 Wiki saying suicide, very sad indeed .
Drazen Muzinic 1,444 Posted March 4, 2019 That's no age. Suicide is a scourge of modern life and men in particular are vulnerable. Socialised pressures of a modern-day patriarchy are mentioned on another thread and I'm sure people still don't get how big a problem depression is. Awareness is improving but still more can be done. Duncan Edwards 2,217 Posted March 4, 2019 Gutted by this news. Been my favourite band since the early 90s; a real shame that he found himself in such a place that he saw no other way out. A sad day.
JF 694 Posted March 4, 2019 Just home from work to see this on the bbc. Very sad. The modern world is creating a lot of very depressed and desperate people, men seem to struggle most with it. I don’t know what can be done to change this but in the last couple of years I know 5 people (men) that have taken their lives. It’s an illness that doesn’t care for social standing, age or wealth. Herman 9,710 Posted March 4, 2019 I have seen the Prodigy many a time, from their early beginnings in Essex, all nighters in London to large festival appearances. Always a top showman and a part of a group that took rave to the mainstream without losing their edge. RIP Keith.
kick it off 1,948 Posted March 4, 2019 Desperately sad and no age to go. RIP to one of the great music personalities of my lifetime, and by all accounts a top bloke.
