I moan about goalkeepers nowadays but that wasn't the greatest display. Perhaps Keelan spoilt us or our memories are clouded by romantic thoughts.

Sandy Kennon was noticeably nervous on his debut.

Was it Hopkinson or Hogkinson in the Blades net?

Dad wouldn't let me go to the games. He said it was a bit cramped and I probably wouldn't see anything. Had to sit at home and listen on the radio.

I was in the South Stand at the front, level with the edge of the penalty area at the River End. Had a great view of Brennan's goal.

I expect that was a 7.15pm kickoff with 10 minutes for half time. And special buses waiting on Riverside Road.

Yes, I think that's right. I remember the buses👍

Remember being at West Earlham Junior School listening to the Luton replay on the radio. 2.30pm kick off at St Andrews that day. Mr Smith let us off lessons to listen to it.
