hows jarrett playing at plymouth?

Recommended Posts

Another fine example of a player who has for some reason not been up to

the job under Worthington''s management yet when he''s gone somewhere

else he''s suddenly that clubs best player... why''s that do you think?

Just shows that JJ has the makings of  agood player for us - performing away at one of the form clubs in the league and wanted by Wigan yet Worthy cant seem to get him to tie his own laces...

Now convince me all is right behind the scenes

Looks to me like worthington never played Jason Jarrett when he was at Blackpool as a youngster (ring any bells!!!!)  and let him go on a free!!!

I know alot of people slagged jarrett, but i think he wasn''t managed

well by Worthy.  I''ve said before, that putting Jarrett on in 85

mins against coventry fisrt day of season, when both hughes &

charlie were cream crackered by 60 mins, IMO did much to break jarretts

confidence and also contributed to us drawing, instead of winning the

match. bad start.

Not surprised to see him doing better at plymouth with pulis at helm.

If Jarrett moves on and stars for his next club, it will be probably due to him becoming demoralised here at all the totally premature and ignorant criticism, particularly on this forum. It''s interesting that the very same people that sniped at Jarrett (without blaming NW, because this was before the WO bandwagon) before he went out on loan are now saying that really he''s a great player, and it''s all Worthy''s fault. It sort of debunks the "greatest fans in the world" myth: good work boys. Next, no doubt, will be Hughes, then Robinson.

A mate of mine saw the Watford/Plymouth game and Jarrett didn''t stand out. If you think Worthy likes a team of ''cloggers'' then what do you think Pulis is ''Arsene Wenger?''

Jarrett isn''t exactly in a team of artisans and he plays like all the rest.

Players like him have heavily contributed to the current state of this club. Overpaid and underworked. Hughes does at least have an attitude and works for his money even if he has little quality to bring to the party.

Do stop pining for Jarrett with a ''grass is greener'' sentiment. He was another pooR Worthy acquisition who''s heart has never been in it.

Good riddance.
