Huggy Bear says the word on the street is this one is being pushed back to Sunday for the Tellybox.

If Reading is on the Tuesday night, it'll mean a day less recovery...

It is unusual but not unheard of for Sky to show Championship games on a Sunday with the exception of local derbies. If this game is moved it seems more likely to be Friday night or Saturday evening.

If it does get moved to Sunday I assume the Reading game would be moved back to Wednesday

Yes, there won't be 2 games in 3 days.

That's stretching the truth Ricardo. Tues to Friday is 3 sleeps!

Between each game is 72 hours ( 3 days 😉 )

Sunday to Tuesday is 2 sleeps and between those games would be (approx) 55 hours

Even after all that I agree with you that we won't be paying Sunday and then Tuesday

Sky have not released their Championship choices for April, but they have picked three other games for that Sunday - a lunchtime game in Scotland and two PL games in the afternoon.

I don't know how Sky works, and whether they would fit in a Championship game as well, given that the only such games they seem to show are local derbies moved to a Sunday lunchtime by the police.

Deadline for announcing the games is tomorrow.

Definitely expecting some of our games to move for TV, though with Easter, we have Sheff Wed on Good Friday at 3pm, then Stoke on Easter Monday at 3pm.  I suspect one of those might change to a lunchtime or teatime k.o.

And Reading moved to Wednesday.👍

Huggy will have a word with the source who gave him mixed information.

After this weekend’s trip to Millwall, five of City’s next six league games will be live on television !

LOL typical of Sky's anti-City bias, not showing the Rotherham game live !!

Being serious it may have something to do with our games this season having masses of goals and excitement, and us now being top of the league, which has put City higher up their radar ?  Compared to pre-season when most predictions were mid-table for us.

For those interested in the financial side of things

We get £100,000 for each home game, and £10,000 for each away game shown

So another £410,000 heading our way 🍾

and, I believe, that is £740,000 in total so far..... yippee !

oh, and to show that it is not all in our favour as our impoverished neighbours repeatedly claim

they have money to be earned between now and May

£10, 000 away at Bristol City

oh dear 😥

The BBC televise FA cup games that have rank outsiders and non league teams playing, so there's a chance of 1 game a year for them.

Difficult to be 'everybody's second favorite Team ' to be the 'Pride of East Anglia ' and to be 'famous ' when nobody knows who you are.
