Kind hearted binners

"Ipswich Town fans have offered to help manager Paul Lambert pay a £3,000 fine to the FA after he was charged with misconduct."

"A Town supporter has now set up a GoFundMe page to help Lambert pay the sanction without having to dip into his own pocket."

Whatever next, a statue?

As if Lambert isn't screwing the club for enough for what amounts to just a load of cynical bull shine, terrible results and largely ineffective signings at the last window.

Thanks to the chance that man was given by NCFC (a club he now hates), the fair wind and the massive support on top of that, PL is now a rich man. He has even probably made a small fortune from being sacked from clubs who needed to pay up his contract (Villa?)

The dumbos at the @ the Loo can only dream of that man's wealth.

They are gestering this pathetic move because in their minds Lambert's frantic, drunk-like exhibition at Carrow Road showed "passion." They fall for his every tactic. He has probably even convinced himself as he doesn't seem to have a lot up top.

That gentleman Bobby Robson would be turning in his grave.

ITFC. The gift that keeps on giving.

Paul Lambert's win percentage to date is 13%.

15 games into the season. 2 wins.

So it's £1500 per win. They must consider that is good value.

Very, very funny. This could spectacularly back fire if they have to bin it, when it stagnates at a few 100 pounds raised. It will then be announced the money will go to charity of course.

He really has dug himself into a hole on this one. He is still saying that he stands by everything which happened, which I would have thought should mean the fine is increased. I thought prisoners are not allowed out until they admit guilt - he should stay on the naughty step in the stands until he says sorry.

He really has set a new benchmark for being Classless. I really hope that Karma is real, and working on a spectacular payback for PL.

Surely that £3k would be better spent investing in a tree surgeon and a decent pressure washer to spruce Portaloo Road up a bit ahead of their next adventure.

Although, maybe a tree growing through the stand is par of the course in League One?

Do they actually have a tree growing up through one of the stands? It sounds like a joke and yet seems eminently believable...

Yes and it's holding the stand up. Could they be any more tinpot?

To be completely fair, perhaps the reason the crowdfunding amounts are so low is because most of the binmen do recognise what a tw*t Lambert is.

Is it time to start talking about increasing capacity at CR? no kid in Suffolk is going to want to watch League 1 football. 😁

What about a community funded beam back for them from CR?

We could always sponsor their league one shirts.....in yellow and green of course. Lend  them a few youngsters, if they do good , we'll take them back again!

There must be a multitude of ways we could ' help' our neighbours at little cost to us but at maximum embarrassment to them.

That's a great idea, we could put up a big screen in front of their empty stand so they could watch Premier League football for the first time in 17 years. 👍

We already do quite a lot of coaching in some of the schools in Ips$it, which the forum fans aren't too pleased about, so maybe we're rubbing their noses in it enough - fans have long memories, and hold grievances for a long time.
