Yet another Norwich City player seemingly improving game on game.

Not only was he a colossus today, he showed terrific maturity in the role of captain.

Can’t see him losing his place or the armband anytime soon.

He's been brilliant all season. I think he's definitely up there for POTS consideration, alongside Teemu.

He's big, he's quick, he's strong, reads the game and he is a ****ing brilliant leader. The way he leads the team is exceptional, both by example throwing his body in where it hurts time and time again, but also when the others are getting overly emotional he is quick to sort them out. He was screaming at Emi to calm down towards the end when Chalobah cleaned him out.

Agreed, all the ignorant football experts on here  who slated our lower tier German imports last season should now realise they ought to leave footballing decisions to those with football intelligence.

His instruction to Rhodes to calm Emi down, and Rhodes doing just that, says a lot.

He was like that at Leeds too.

It's a fair while since I've seen such captaincy. Maybe Malky.

Hadn't thought of that. Holty was a brilliant captain but in terms of maturity and calm leadership I think Malky is probably right.

Don't think it deserves it's own thread but loved Cantwell sticking up for his teammates in the end scuffle. He was one of the first players to get in the mix, and he is by no means the biggest lad on the pitch.

Brilliant centre back. Let's be honest, he is yet another example of the, frankly, sensational recruitment of the Webber era.
