My biggest concern!

Recommended Posts

Correct me if I wrong, but isn’t DF contact with us  due to run out at the end of the season?

It would be a huge relief to see him commit for another three years.

Far more important than any players contracts. Got to hope that Webber is working on it.If not

some PL may be knocking on his door.

Lamberts head was turned, don’t want to see that repeated.

The hold up may not be down to our club. We don't know what Farke's plans were when he took this contract. It may be that he only ever intended to spend 2 years in this country. Whatever though the chance to manage in the PL would be a great incentive to sign.

But then it may be Farke Off again by Christmas. It's only 5 months since the last time...

Webber himself might head off if promotion becomes a reality. He almost suggested it himself back around the AGM time that he has big ambitions. His record thus far seems to be specialising in acquiring players & assembling a squad capable of challenging for promotion up into the top flight, not necessarily a squad capable of the oft-mentioned and much sought after 'consolidation' in the PL, if such a thing exists outside the top 7 or 8. Plenty of clubs with deeper pockets than Norwich City would pay top dollar for somebody with his skill set & apparent connections. If we do get promoted, he might see it as 'job done' and let himself be head-hunted.

I suppose we should be grateful that this is even an issue; the club is currently being run very well. Long may this continue.
