Alex Moss 2,165 Posted February 3, 2019 Anyone know why there’s the name of an American Football Coach on the back wall of the office? Bill Belichick? Seems a bit odd?
Yellow and Green 334 Posted February 3, 2019 @Alex Moss I'd assume it's some kind of inspirational quote. Good interview, although we've heard most of that before. Not a dig at anyone - merely a positive reflection on how good SW has been at interacting with fans through the various media outlets. I love the way the club is being run - open, honest and intelligent.

Orly 277 Posted February 3, 2019 I was a little bit skeptical about Webber, particularly after the first couple of games this season, but I'm very pleased to have been proven wrong, as usual. I look forward to being proven wrong about us "not being premier league champions 19/20 season" next year, too.

Seems a bit odd? I presume it is beneath an ‘inspirational’ quote. Something football clubs love covering their walls with. Webber has always spoken a lot of sense and this interview is a continuation of that.
Alex Moss 2,165 Posted February 3, 2019 Cheers Yellow and Green, and Bethnal - of course, makes perfect sense now! Doh! 🤦🏻♂️

Having never heard of Mr Belichick I checked out some of his quotes. I assume it is the first or second on Webber's wall. http://www.quoteambition.com/inspiring-bill-belichick-quotes-leadership-teamwork-game/

KeiranShikari 1,354 Posted February 3, 2019 Some good quotes there. ''To live in the past is to die in the present'' is rather fitting for those down the road.
splendidrush 698 Posted February 3, 2019 Ha! They'll be wearing stripey shirts baggy pants and Lord Kitchener trashes, and we'll have to put up a piece of string for the crossbar.
