Beatle 0 Posted December 3, 2005 I''ve backed him through the rough times, but I''ve had enough now!!!!!He''s got to go NOW!No point in waiting to see if the situation improves, we''ve been waiting all season. He keeps saying that ''hopefully'' things will get better with hard work and going back to basics.Being hopeful won''t save us!!!!!Look at poor old Forest now, beaten 3-0 by Chester today!!!!!We could be there if changes aren''t made soon!!! Why would Davenport want to come to a crap side like we''ve got???????Just heard him in press conference, sounds very flat, lets hope he walks now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [/quote]I agree, worthy sounded down and out. it can''t be easy for him to seethings falling apart only 18 months after the high afterpromotion. he''s a decent bloke and the board have given him everychance and resources since the wolves match to turn it around - aftertoday''s performance, we''re in deep trouble. Beatle 0 Posted December 3, 2005 I''d go for Burley too!I know he''s an ex scummer but he knows enough about the game and would bring something new to the club. It''s got so bad I''ve even taken my City crest sticker out of my car window!!!!!!!!Come January I think we''ll lose Ashton, Green and Huckerby. Might not be a bad thing, I know Ashton gives 100% but I always get the impression that he''s only here until he gets an offer from a Premiership club, he doesn''t have a passion for the club like Iwan did or Leon has. We''re just his stepping stone. I''d be very tempted to have a mass clearout and totally re-build the squad.
Rudolph Hucker 0 Posted December 3, 2005 We would need to bring in a manager who could encourage certain players to come to the club. Experienced managers always seem to have a group of such players who will come in for him. For a new manager there is every opportunity to quickly form a team of their own due to the amount of loan players, players coming to the end of their contracts and players likely to be sold.
