A Load of Squit 5,161 Posted January 20, 2019 It's not the training facilities, the stadium, the fans, it's Argos and the 'shiny book of dreams'.

Wishbone 8 Posted January 20, 2019 I feel somewhat disappointed that Onel, a child of socialist Cuba, likes such capitalist shops  Maybe, not all Cubans are socialist at heart

Nuff Said 5,119 Posted January 21, 2019 Has anyone on here actually been in Argos recently? They told me I could have something delivered same day (but pay extra for delivery) or pick it up in store but not until the day after. How does that work? It takes longer to get it to a store than my house? Bizarre business model.
KeiranShikari 1,410 Posted January 21, 2019 Presumably lots of people pay the bit extra for same day delivery.
A Load of Squit 5,161 Posted January 22, 2019 Congrats to the PR people at Argos, they got on touch with Onel and offered him some free stuff. Didn't say if they were going to deliver or whether he had to collect from his local store.
