Attleborough_Canary 64 Posted January 19, 2019 An article saying we should sign someone, expect plenty of those.

Boris 56 Posted January 19, 2019 We play one in attack and hardly use Rhodes who deserve more and also Srbeny have very limited time. To add new striker for sure mean Rhodes or Srbeny should be shipped very soon.
Drazen Muzinic 1,421 Posted January 19, 2019 Three speculative punts at transfer window bingo on this site - I hate the transfer window.
Surfer 1,547 Posted January 19, 2019 (edited) Hah hah hah, have they watched how we play our game? A backup to Pukki, yes. A big lump to sit on the bench for the odd occasion when we have our backs to the wall - no we have Hanley on the bench for that defensive role already; also we don’t do aerial bombardments of the opppsition box - but if we did want to do that we have Klose, Srbeny, Rhodes, Steiperman and Godfrey who are all decent enough in the air. i’d rather play two at the back and 5 up front than sign Andy Carroll. Edited January 19, 2019 by Surfer
ricardo 7,239 Posted January 19, 2019 What nonsense it's hard to think of anyone less suited to our style of play.
littleyellowbirdie 2,412 Posted January 19, 2019 I read that and wondered if the author had any knowledge of football, let alone of Norwich. Someone needs to take the poor guy aside and gently explain that scoring goals is not a problem in the fine city.
Making Plans 929 Posted January 20, 2019 And how did things turn out with the last injury prone player we bought from West Ham?
Dean Coneys boots 1,382 Posted January 20, 2019 Would be a poor signing. Expensive wages for a player often injured and on the down not the up. And no improvement on what we have. Stick with Pukki!
paul moy 235 Posted January 20, 2019 Crazy.  He is rarely fit and would be yet another very costly mistake.
HertsCanary93 222 Posted January 20, 2019 What a load of rubbish. He will be on an absolute fortune - at least double or current highest paid player. Not the sort of money you want to be paying for a perpetual sick note.
Daz Sparks 1,120 Posted January 20, 2019 Fortunately Webber and Farke aren't that daft.
wcorkcanary 4,315 Posted January 20, 2019 I can hardly think of a player less suited to our New way of doing things. Might as well recall Naismith and give him a payrise too.

How many promising young players, who even if they don’t get into the first team we could sell on at a profit, could we buy for the same cost?

Srbeny's goals per minutes ratio is actually better than both Rhodes and Pukki oddly enough, and we've got a couple of decent youngsters who could certainly cover the bench if needed (Idah or Spyrou both look decent). We don't need another Mat Jarvis.
king canary 7,456 Posted January 20, 2019 This bizarre new style of article is clickbait at its very worst- no suggestion that we have even the remotest interest, just that we should. What a crock of ****.

What a crock of ****. And unfortunately a number of people have clicked on it, the website sees it has a modicum of success, and will more than likely increase the BS levels.
