Needed to have a good game last night after looking like the shadow of the player he was last season in his recent appearances. He certainly stepped up in a big way.

Yeh have to say he looked dominant in midfield, hopefully back to his best and hungry to take his opportunity now, especially if Tettey is out for a run of important games.

Calm, measured, a good level of organisation and nearly always passed it cleanly. Very impressed with his work rate too. Him and Vrancic certainly deserve their places.

I've heard it pronounced Tribble on TV. Not 100% sure to be honest.

I’m not sure how hard it is to say Try bull?!

Had to watch yesterday on Sky as I got stuck in London and he really was class, surprised he didn’t get Sky MOM although they did go on a lot about Teemu 👍🏻

Think it is meant to be pronounced Tribble (German pronunciation). Try-bul for me though.

Only surprise is it took so long for this to be posted.  TT played very well however not a great deal of pressing from Brum, but excellent performance spent much of the time in the back 3 while Max and Jamal went up the pitch.  More challenges to come hope TT will cover for Tettey as effectively if he does Farke has problems re DM.  Back to last season's form needs to be more than one game.

He gave the ball away a few times early on, but really grew into the game and got stronger and stronger. Very impressive.

'OddJob' = 'Random Task'....(Austin Powers).......'Trybull' = 'Attempt Bovine'.....(NCFC)......Makes it easier (and just a bit o' fun) for those who commentate or have trouble with name pronunciations.......

Trybull was excellent last night and I have a theory as to why. This season has seen him play in cup games or coming on for a few minutes in games. He always knows that Tettey will start in the league games, now with Tettey out for the next few weeks I think Trybull sees this as an opportunity to stake a real claim for the DM position as he will be involved a run of games, so with the prospect of this, the guy now has an incentive to perform at a greater level. Basically he has something to gain for playing well instead of the thought of bench warming after one appearance.
